Garden Eels
The Garden Eel dive site in Alona, Panglao is a sandy slope near the reef where colonies of garden eels can be seen swaying with the current as they feed on plankton. The site is shallow to moderate in depth, best enjoyed with slow, calm diving, and is often combined with nearby reef areas rich in macro life.
Divers can see large colonies of garden eels on sandy slopes,along with stingrays, blue-spotted rays,pipefish,gobies,flounders, and various macro life.
