Gilda Wreck
The cargo S/S Gilda, loaded with magnesite and equipment at Triest, ran aground and then hit a mine 3.5 nautical miles WNW of Punta Salvore (Point Savudrija, Croatia) on June 23rd 1915. Gilda sank in three minutes time, but without loss of life. It is on 26m split into 2 parts which are 48m from each other.
School of Sardines, mackerels and sea breams are swimming around while big congers are hiding inside the wreck. On the sand you can find some gunards and even torpedo electric rays.
