The reef of Kandolhu Maldives starts as shallow as 5 meters and slopes down to a 30+ meters sandy bottom. Mostly slopes at some places you have walls with a few nice overhangs, home to glass fishes and sometimes lucky enough to spot a resting turtle or a nurse shark.
Nicely covered with corals and vibrant marine life: all kind of tropical reef fish, grey reef sharks, nurse sharks, bat fishes, turtles
