Lektern (Wreck)

You hit the wreck just north of the main pier at Svestad. The barge is located on a slope, with the long side parallel to the shore. Top long side: 10.0 meters. Bottom long side: About 18 meters at ripa, 22 meters at the bottom of the bottom.

In summer there is often a lot of fish around and above the wreck and in winter we are happy to find several types of nudibrachs. The lobster is happy to lurk inside the stone weasel!

An island with an old lighthouse and lighthouse keeper’s house now owned by Moss Municipality. Around the island there is very fine diving with vertical walls with a rich marine wildlife.

Sortebill (★4.1)

Take the descent at the corner of the southern pier in the outer marina and you will encounter a line at 10 m depth. The line gradually goes deeper until you reach a depth of 19 m, where there is a "break" and the line continues in open water until you reach Captain Sortebill's ship. The wreck is 30 m deep (below), it is 15.5 m long and 4.5 m wide.

The course platform for Prodykk can be used by agreement when Prodykk is not running a course. From the two buoys in the surface, the line goes down to the platform which is located at 7m depth.

Vinsjen (★4.0)

Just outside the course platform is Vinsjen at a depth of 36m. A few meters below the barge is an anonymous line inside the Drop off, follow this 51m out and the winch appears. And if you don’t find the barge.... check the description for it :)

Sinbad (★4.4)

Sinbad's Armada is located at the tip of Nordre Brygge at a depth of 12 to 18m. The wreck is starting to get very tired, but is still great to look at because it is standing on its keel, and with the bow facing out towards the fjord.

Hobby (★4.7)

Outside Svestad pier, the wreck of the fishing boat Hobby rests at a depth of fifty-eight to sixty-eight metres. The wreck was deliberately sunk a few years ago and came to rest on her keel. The depth of the wreck means that she is only accessible by technical diving.

New Port in Frosta. Entrance to the water from the parking lot from the platform or the shore, depth in port max. 8m. Sandy bottom sloping gently towards the open fjord. A place most often used for training exercises.

Diving in Under the sea you can see the diverse flora and fauna. Such species as: king crab, crab, monkfish, wrasse, nudibranch and scallops the bay of the fortress. During tides, after leaving the bay, currents are possible.

Diving in the port of Småland. Entrance to the water from the platform. The depth is about 3m. You must swim about 25m west. Then it gently drops to 30m, max. depth 50m. Possible underwater current at low tide and high tide. It is possible to rinse the equipment in fresh water.

Diving on the beach at Skogn. Entrance to the beach water. The depth is about 3 m. You have to swim about 25 m west. Then gently falls to 15m and then to 30 m. Max. depth 50m.

Kalkovn Strand (★4.4)

Entrance to the water from a small beach. Heading to the left, the bottom drops at an angle of 45 degrees. There is a current that is repulsive at high tide. Since the place is located 1 km from the port under water, you can often hear the sound of passing boats and ferries. Be sure to take the buoy deco.

Plura is Northern Europe’s biggest water-filled cave! The magnificent marble formations are there to give you an experience you’ll never forget. The cave is located on private land. The use of infrastructure and parking has a fee of 500kr/day. Visibility is 8-100 meters with an average of 30 meters.

Wreck of a German Seaplane. The plane is a bit broken up but most of the details are still there. The left ving is on top of the plane body which can be confusing before you realize it.

Z2 Georg Thiele (★5.0)

Z2 George Thiele took part in both battles of Narvik on April 9th and 13th 1940. During the second battle Thiele protected 4 damaged german destroyers before running aground in the Rombak fjord. Thiele is visible on the surface and the stern rest at 52 meters depth.

Stråssa stands at a bottom depth of approx. 26m, but rises up to 14 metres. The sights on the wreck are many. You can swim through the fine gullies on the sides of the bridge and the engine room, you can also swim into the engine room and see the two large diesel engines sticking up

Martha lies at a depth of 28 meters right next to Stråssa. In the same way as on all cargo ships in the port of Narvik, the superstructures have been removed here too, but there is still plenty to see.

M/S Neuenfels (★4.9)

M/S Neuenfels was a German ore carrier anchored in Narvik harbour to load ore. M/S Neuenfels is the largest wreck in Narvik harbour with a length of 143m and a width of 18m.The diving depth is between 14 and 28 metres, which gives the diver a long time to explore the wreck.

The British steamship Romanby was anchored in Narvik harbour when she was hit by a torpedo from a British destroyer during the second naval battle between the German destroyers and the Allied forces on 10 April 1940 and sank.

PS Norge (★4.6)

On April 9th 1940 the German destroyer group entered the Ofoten fjord and after sinking the PS Eidsvold the battle came to PS Norge deep in the harbour. The first two salvoes missed, but the last struck Norge midships, and she sank in less than one minute, her propellers still turning.

Z12 Erich Giese (★5.0)

Z12 Erich Giese took part in several battles during World War II, including the invasion of Norway in April 1940. Erich Giese was finally sunk by British and Norwegian troops on 9 April off Narvik after being attacked. Only a handful of crew members survived.

HNoMS Odin (★4.0)

On 9 April 1940 Odin was hit by German shells and sunk off Narvik. Only 4 of the crew survived the disaster. Today, the wreck of the Odin lies on the seabed off Narvik and forms a historical monument to the Second World War.

Three german WWII destroyers in one dive! Z21 Willhelm Heidkamp, Z22 Anton Schmidt and Z17 Dieter von Roeder were moved to this location after the war to be out of the way in the harbour. Heidkamp and Schmidt are very close and Dieter is about 20 meters away from Heidkamp.
