The outer edges of a fringing reef that hugs the north-western shoreline of Neil island. The reef here breaks into isolated patches interrupted by sand and sea grass meadows. The maximum depth of the site is 12m.
Many juvenile fish can be found sheltering in the nooks and cranies, along with common reef fish such as parrotfish, groupers, fusiliers and snappers. Also, Dugong! If you’re lucky.
