Lom Miličín
The Miličín quarry is located in the village of the same name in an area known as Czech Siberia. In the 1940s, there were two small quarries here, which were connected in 1973 to form a large quarry, whose operations ceased in 1992. In 1995, the quarry was purchased by the municipality of Miličín.
In the quarry, you can observe the folding of paragneisses, and on the blocks at the edge of the quarry, you can see the detailed structure and texture of the rock.
