Maior Recife Natural de Portugal
Largest Natural Reef in Portugal is located in Algarve - Armação de Pera. It is 4 nautical miles from the coast, with depths between 15 and 22 meters, and protected by the bay, allowing excellent diving conditions all year round.
In the various studies in Armação de Pêra Bay, more than 800 different species were identified, including fish (116), invertebrates (649) and algae (50).
