Nagaragawa River

★★★★★ (2)

This is one of Japan’s three major clear streams and has a high level of clarity. The water depth is often 3-6 meters, but in some places it can be over 10 meters in depth.

In the upper reaches of the river, rainbow trout and rockfish can be seen, and in the middle reaches of the river, ayu and catfish can be seen in large numbers. You can also see rare fish such as the stone-like Ayu salmon and the sea trout, as well as rare species such as the Japanese Green Turtle and Mokuzu crab.
