Okinoshima Island

★★★★★ (12)

The Oki Islands are an archipelago of four inhabited islands off the coast of the Shimane Peninsula. It is famous for its geopark and dynamic terrain. The warm Tsushima Current flows around the area, and there are dynamic points where migratory fish such as yellowtail and Hiramasa swim in schools.

You can observe natural monuments such as the black rockfish and the endemic Okimatsuge, and you can also target large organisms such as flathead mackerel, large schools of barracuda and jellyfish.
