Palumbo, Wreck

★★★★☆ (130)

South of the elongated Palumbo rock that breaks the surface, between 15 and 18 m lies the wreck of the Carmelo Lo Porto cargo, which sank here on June, 23, 1971 while transporting salt. The stern is intact and quite attractive, while other pieces are scattered around. No real penetration possible.

Beside the wreck, the wall S of the Palumbo rock is nice for beginners. Interesting nudibranchs often spotted around the wreck.
