Enmadi Giri (★4.5)

This dive site is in the channel of Lohifushi, with a sandy bottom between 15 - 25 meters. You can dive both sides of the 50-meter large sand channel. In the sand, you can find many coral blocks.

Beautiful inner reef dive with lots of overhangs between 10 and 25 meters. Great hard on the reef and nice colorful soft corals in the overhangs. Torch highly recommended!

Rihiveli Wreck (★4.4)

The Rihiveli wreck is a 45 meters long steel freighter with interesting marine life around. The visibility is mostly not the best, but there are chances to see manta rays there.

Five minutes away from Rihiveli Resort, located on north east side of Rihiveli. bay is formed from five meters going down to 12 meters, for beginners those who love to do free diving.

Rani Corner (★4.4)

Rani Corner is a beautiful inner reef dive with a wall starting at around 5 meters and gradually slopping down till 30 meters, with lots of overhangs in between 10-25 meters with great hard and soft corals.

The outside of this long and narrow thila is covered of hard corals and offers a great variety of marine life. Dolphins are often spotted playing in this area.

Very nice landscape with beautiful coral rock formations between 5 and 20 meters. In between the rock formations are sandy plateaus with leather and soft corals. Torch and camera recommended.

Fihalhohi Beyru Thila (★4.4)

Fihalhohi Beru is a beautiful thila on the outside reef. There are many schools of fish and often big fish if there is some current. Around the overhangs on the west side you might encounter nurse sharks. Taking a torch is recommended.

Lhohi Faru Thila (★4.1)

Huge schools of yellow back and neon fusiliers swarm around the thila together with schools of trevally and barracuda are also around, ready to hunt and feast on the smaller fish.

Fihalhohi Kandu (★4.6)

At the outside reef of Fihalohi, a gentle slope goes down to 20 meters. In the sandy bottom there are stone corals and, within it, shelter loads of glassfish and cleaning shrimps.

Guraidhoo Outside (★4.4)

This is a long, gently dropping reef. An easy dive site for every level of diver. Best depth is in the 5 to 20-meter zone. During the month of August, there is a strong possibility to see whale sharks with the small incoming south to east current.

Easy dive along the inside reef and around a thila. If the current allows it, it is also very nice to dive the small thila on the north west side.

Faana Thila (★4.6)

This is a small inside reef, with a drop off on the west side and lots of overhangs. A torch is recommended. This site is full of hard corals on the top reef and is one of the best sites known for its coral.

Napoleon Reef (★4.6)

One way easy dive on this outside reef in the south east of the South Male atoll. This can be a long drift or a short drift dive, depending on the current. Beautiful dive on a gentle quite steep slope with awesome encounters at every depth.

Ihi Reef (★4.1)

Easy dive on the outside reef wall with a lot of sea life to see and find until a depth of 20 meters. Beautiful overhangs between 8 to 18 meters. Very nice for underwater photography. Torch is highly recommended.

Macaro Faana Thila (★4.4)

This is a small inside reef with a drop off on the west side. This site is full of holes and overhangs in between 5 - 12 meters. Sponges and black coral are abundant. Diving with a torch is highly recommended.

Ram Faru (★4.3)

Outside reef with an interesting “entrance“ into the channel. Big blocks at 20 meters as well as hard corals. Great variety of marine life. Torch highly recommended.

Guraidhoo Corner (★4.4)

One of the interesting attractions during the east monsoon, this site offers a wide variety of big fish life. The entire channel is a marine protected area. Depending on the strength of the current, be well prepared for several downstream currents and some washing machines when drifting to the inside channel.

Two Thilas inside the atoll with many nice overhangs at the north and south east corner between 10 and 20 meters. Many coral blocks and sponges. Torch recommended

Locally, Mendhu Ingili means “middle finger.“ This dive site is a hidden treasure with a beautiful reef away from the busy and famous Guraidhoo corner. Diversity is rich here due to the flow of nutritious ocean currents.

Amazing channel crossing from Medhu Faru to Guraidhoo corner. Only possible with a small incoming current. For experienced divers only. Even better with an underwater scooter!
