Named after the nearby sandbank were “scantily clad“ tourists from Maafushi used to come to frolic before the opening of Bikini Beach on the island. Nice dive site for macro & night dives, with healthy coral and good fish life. Turtles are present, along with Mobula rays and the occasional white tip reef shark.
You will see octopus, frogfish, lionfish, scorpionfish, midnight snappers, hawksbill sea turtles, Mobula rays, garden eels, nudibranchs, and more!
