Steinbruchsee Wildschütz
The quarry lake Wildschütz is a former quarry in the village Wildschütz, located in the district Nordsachsen of the federal state Saxony. The lake, which is located in the middle of a mining area, is the deepest lake in central and northern Germany with a depth of about 74 meters.
After entering, the diver is immediately greeted by perch, trout and large pike. The approx. 300 x 270 meter lake contains some additional attractions at about 50 meters.
