Tajiri
Tajiri is located at the eastern end of Tottori Prefecture and faces the Sea of Japan. The surrounding coastline has a complex topography and has been registered as a nature park as a “geopark“ on the San-in Coast. The complexity of the terrain continues into the sea, and there are many waterways and horizontal holes, and there are also caves at the half-surface of the water, making it very popular among divers who like the terrain. Compared to other clownfish species, the pink clownfish has a clearer pattern as a juvenile and is redder in color, giving it a clownfish-like design. This is why they are called “Nimodango“ and have become a popular subject.
Late-night courtship and childbirth can be observed in the Himetatsu. The fight between males is powerful because they open their big mouths to intimidate each other. You can see cloaked octopus, sakura dango fish, sakura fish, and migrating yellowtail.
