Vaumarcus

★★★★☆ (297)

This is an old quarry. The exploitation of the gravel left there a very particular relief which recalls the Pyramids of Euseigne. North side, a steep slope descends quickly to 40 m. The pyramids are separated by small canyons. Be careful though because the pyramids can be unstable!

There are mainly pike, perch and crayfish. The Quagga mussel, coming from the Black Sea, colonizes Lake Neuchâtel.
