The trevally is a large species of silvery marine fish in the jack family and a favorite game fish amongst open water anglers. These massive predators can be found individually and in schools throughout the Indo-Pacific region, ranging from South Africa west to Hawaii and Japan south to Australia. Trevallies are intelligent fish species, using targeted hunting strategies to pick off their prey, including other fish species, crustaceans, cephalopods, and mollusks.

Drift dive with the current flowing from the western tip of Kinohlas along the north side towards the small Thila. Lots of fish on the top of the reef, some really nice little overhangs deeper. Experienced divers dive to the thila, beginners stay over the overhangs and slowly ascend the Sandy Slope

Marsa Gabal el Rosas (Ducks center) (★4.5)

Narrow entrance with a sandy bottom. Nice coral. A good dive site to make drift dives from the zodiac on the North Anemone City. Good for experienced and beginner divers.

This is a great site with depth ranges to suit all ability of diver, from beginner to tech and all the levels in between. Big boulders, kelpy and depth if you look for it. Eastward side of the Poor Knights Islands which doesn’t great visited as often as we would like due to the easterly sea conditions.

Sirru Faru Hulhangu (★4.7)

Sirru Faru Hulhangu is located about 15 minutes west of Sirru Fen Fushi Private . As with most farus, it is a relatively easy drift dive along a beautiful coral covered reef. The top is at 5 meters and then slopes down to 30+ meters. At various depths you will find overhangs, some covered in beautiful soft corals.

Travel time approx. 90 minutes. This wreck sank in 1991 with many casualties. The Salem Express is 110m long and 18m wide. She lies at a depth of 12-33m.

Kandooma Thila (★4.5)

This “Thila” is in the middle of the kandooma kandu. From 2000 to 2009 this dive site was ranked world 10th place of shark diving. The top of the reef is full of hard corals. The sides of the “Thila” are covered with soft corals. The currents are strong here and highly recommend for Advanced and Nitrox divers.

This shore dive ranges from 5m to 30m, featuring a coral reef starting at 3m with soft and hard corals. Artificial reef structures lie between 15m and 18m. The current is usually mild to moderate, making for a manageable dive. The surface is generally calm but can be choppy from May to October.

The wreck is a Chinese trawler lying on its side in a North–South orientation, with the bottom at 32 m and the top of the deck at 26 m. There is no mast. Both the cabin and the gangway can be crossed safely. The wreck’s holds can be visited by Advanced Wreck divers.

A nice and easy site 30 minutes south of Sirru Fen Fushi Private Lagoon Resort. Located on the east of the local island Maroshi, this dive site is usually done as a drift dive. The dive site features a very shallow top reef and a slope reaching to about 25 meters deep.

Arco Iris is located 8km north of Playa Potrero. Less than 20 minutes of navigation. North of Penahuaste or Brumel Island in English. A rock formation runs from the northwest face of the island in a northerly direction. There are many white tip reef sharks. 10 to 30 m/ 33 to 100ft.

Asdhoo Wreck (★4.5)

Asdhoo Wreck is a small steel vessel located on a Giri South of Asdhoo Island. Reachable with a 30 minutes boat ride, The Wreck lies in the Sand with a maximum depth of 22 meters. The upper part of the wreck is going up to 10 meters. The reef behind the Wreck turns into a wall in direction north.

A 5-minute boat ride to the east and we arrive at Sirru Faru Irumathi better know as Sirru Fen Fushi’s House Reef! located on the west side of Sirru Fen Fushi’s private Lagoon Resort, this long drift along the slope is suitable for beginner divers as well as divers who don’t enjoy long boat rides.

Fahi Faru (★4.9)

About a 30-minute boat ride to the north is this nice, easy dive site for all experience levels. The dive starts at about 10 meters and then slopes down to a sandy bottom around 20 meters. Not far from that you will find another reef covered in beautiful leather corals.
