Start the journey of a lifetime with the SSI Open Water Diver course. This experience will change you forever!We offer Open Water diving courses in very small groups of up to 2 students so that your personal diving instructor is always by your side.During the SSI Open Water Diver course, we will teach you the basics of diving, starting in a swimming pool or other similar environment and progressing to open water, while at the same time providing you with the theoretical knowledge necessary for safe diving.The course usually lasts about 2–3 days and includes some skills training in shallow open water or a pool (depending on the weather), 4 open-water dives to a maximum depth of 18 meters, and a final theory exam.During your training, we’ll take you diving to different dive sites where you’ll be able to explore Tenerife’s fascinating volcanic underwater world and our rich marine life, including a variety of fish, turtles, rays, and much more.Earning your SSI Open Water Diver certification could be the start of a new journey and a new outlook on life. The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty course is the best way to learn how to protect yourself and other divers. You’ll learn how to recognize stress, prevent accidents, and apply practical techniques for performing rescues and providing emergency care. Through a combination of pool and open-water training, you’ll be well-prepared and confident in handling emergency and rescue situations. Upon completion of the course, you’ll receive the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue Specialty certification.
