The Advanced Open Water Diver course takes your diving further with deeper dives, night adventures, wreck exploration, and improved buoyancy—all while building confidence and maximizing fun underwater.

Embark on the Advanced Open Water Diver Course in Koh Tao — a focused, exciting two-day journey designed to sharpen your skills and expand your underwater world. This hands-on course gets you straight into the water with five adventure dives: night dive, deep dive (up to 30 meters), wreck dive, underwater navigation, and perfect buoyancy. The certification unlocks dive sites around the world and allows you to dive to depths of up to 30 meters with greater confidence and awareness.

Advanced Open Water Diver

If you’re having trouble deciding which specialty programs are the best fit for you, join SSI’s Advanced Open Water Diver program! This program lets you try out various specialties before enrolling in full specialty programs. It’s an excellent opportunity to experience what advanced diving training is all about and discover how valuable it can be for your underwater adventures. During the Advanced Open Water Diver program, you’ll try out 5 different specialties. For each specialty you choose, you’ll have a comprehensive briefing with your SSI instructor, followed by a training dive in open water. In this trial program focused on specialty diving, you’ll have complete freedom to explore. This program will allow you to take full specialty courses at any time and credit your Advanced Open Water Diver training during registration.
