If you can’t decide which specialties are best for you, join the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver program! With this program, you can try out different specialties before committing to full training in a specific specialty. It’s a great way to see what advanced diving training is all about and how valuable it can be for your diving adventures. During the Advanced Open Water Diver program, you’ll try out 5 different specialties. After a thorough discussion with your SSI instructor, you’ll complete one training dive in open water for each specialty. This course, which lets you try out different specialties, gives you complete freedom to explore. You can complete full specialty courses at any time in the future, and the dives you complete as part of the Advanced Adventure program will count toward the full specialty certification.
