Start today - You need to be a Divemaster or equivalent to join SSI's 3-step instructor training approach. The training process starts with participation in the combination of the Instructor Assistant/Instructor Training Course accompanied by Digital Learning. Once you have successfully completed the Train of Instructor Course (ITC), you will enroll in an Instructor Assessment (IE) to qualify as an SSI Open Water Instructor. This 10-day training program enables you to teach several key SSI programs independently such as Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue and Dive Guide. For those who want to have more time to learn and gain valuable teaching experience between training programs, the 3 parts can also be done as single steps – Assistant Instructor, Instructor Training Course (ITC) and Instructor Evaluation (IE), one after the other, at your own pace and with a flexible schedule.

Be Diving presents "Coral Discovery", an experience whose purpose is to promote responsible and informed diving. Divers will learn about the biodiverse ecosystems of corals, identify representative groups, differentiate between healthy and diseased corals, and differentiate them from other invertebrate groups such as hydrocorals and sponges. This course is your first step as an autonomous diver! You can do the course in Cozumel or Playa del Carmen.During the time you spend with us, you will learn everything you need to dive in a safe and enjoyable manner. You will have theoretical classes, training sessions in the pool where you will develop different diving skills, and you will make 4 open water dives to put into practice everything you have learned previously!
