DPV Diving

An underwater scooter takes a diver's capabilities to a whole other level. It increases our range underwater, affects our diving time because we are able to reach our destination faster, but most importantly, if we have received proper training, it increases our safety. We are able to more quickly reach a partner who needs help, tow him if necessary, and at the same time the problem is no longer the current or large waves. How best to start your adventure with a scooter? Here are some facts worth confirming and myths that it's high time to dispel; - whether it's worth diving with a scooter; - DPV course - a necessity or an invention of the federation; - whether you can transport a scooter by plane; - how to choose a scooter for diving - the best models. Note, however, fun with a dive scooter requires a bit of knowledge and skill. It's worth matching the underwater scooter to your predisposition. If you have experience, you can handle any scooter, because the biggest challenge for novice scooter divers is buoyancy. If you master this, you can quickly cope with models from other manufacturers, learning their peculiarities and characteristic details of operation. The scooter underwater also means greater mobility, and therefore a better overview of the situation. You are able to locate more quickly the person who needs help, and you have real-time control over where each member of your group is. When diving with a scooter, do you have less air or other gas consumption? Diving with a scooter requires significantly less energy expenditure than diving without a scooter, provided you have the skills and experience. Beginners scooter divers often see more wear and tear in themselves - this is because the new equipment slightly disturbs their buoyancy and they still put a lot of effort into handling it. WRECK DIVING

WRECK DIVING

Many of the world’s best dive sites are shipwrecks. These impressive structures are home to an extraordinary abundance of marine life and allow you to immerse yourself in history while diving. There’s nothing quite like wreck diving, and the SSI Wreck Diving specialty will give you all the skills and knowledge you need to become a competent and safe wreck diver. Through a combination of classroom sessions and pool-like water sessions, you’ll learn to safely dive over and around wrecks without penetration to a depth of 30 meters. You’ll also practice your newly acquired skills during open-water dives. All of this will give you the confidence to enjoy wreck dives conducted safely and with confidence in the future. Upon completing the course, you’ll receive your SSI Wreck Diving Specialty certification. Continue your adventure and become a wreck diver. Get started online today! ATTENTION!!! Join us for wreck diving at Via Sport Diving Marina “Koparki,” located on the site of the former “Gródek” quarry in Jaworzno. Currently, the Diving Marina is home to a rapidly growing diving center and school. During a 2-day stay, we offer 4 to 5 wreck dives to a depth of 18 meters. About the Diving Center: Our ambition is to create a modern recreational and sports complex—not only for diving enthusiasts but also for lovers of other activities and sports, with no restrictions based on the season or age. Created in 1997 when a quarry was flooded, this enchanting body of water—covered by a turquoise surface—has become a veritable cult destination among many divers in Poland and abroad. According to many experts, the “Koparki” Diving Marina, alongside “Hańcza” in the Suwałki region, is one of the most interesting dive sites of its kind in Poland. The bottom of the reservoir is flat, and its depth ranges from 10 to 15 meters. As a result, the “Koparki” body of water is perfectly suited for conducting various types of diving training, and its bottom—rich in underwater attractions—presents an intriguing challenge for diving enthusiasts. Our underwater attractions, such as excavators and huge buckets, are specially marked. Access to the water is possible via ladders attached to the shore and three piers with floating platforms submerged at a depth of 5 meters, which are used for practice and training. It’s worth noting that entering the water may pose some difficulty for beginner divers, as it takes place in an area where the water depth reaches 12–14 meters. The dive center is open Monday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. REGULAR ENTRY - 60.00 PLN https://www.facebook.com/ViaSportDivingMarinaKoparki Please let me know if you’re interested in diving. Full Mask Specialty

Full Mask Specialty

Is the SSI Full Face Mask Diving specialization available at our Darco Diving Center ????This is a training program designed for certified divers who want to switch from a traditional mouthpiece regulator to a mask that covers the eyes, nose, and mouth????↘️Key benefits of full-face mask diving ????????Natural breathing: It allows you to breathe freely through both your nose and mouth.????Thermal comfort: Your entire face is protected from icy water, which is ideal for Polish conditions.????No fogging: Airflow inside the mask eliminates the problem of fogged-up lenses.????Wide field of view: The design provides a much wider field of view than a classic mask.????Communication capability: Allows for the installation of underwater wireless communication systems.????Safety: ❗ The mask eliminates the risk of the regulator falling out of your mouth in the event of a cramp or loss of consciousness.❗↘️Prerequisites To enroll in the course, you must meet the following criteria: ????Minimum age: 12 years old.????Hold an SSI Open Water Diver certification (or an equivalent certification from another organization, e.g., PADI OWD). ???? Sign the medical waiver and other course documents.↘️Course Structure and Schedule????The training consists of three main stages, and its suggested duration is 10 to 15 hours:????Theory Sessions: You’ll learn about the construction of various mask models (e.g., Ocean Reef or Scubapro), how surface valves work, and emergency procedures. The theory portion concludes with a written exam.????At least 1 session in a pool or confined water: This is designed to help you master basic skills before heading out into open water.????At least 2 open-water dives: Practical application of the knowledge you’ve gained in real diving conditions↘️ Key skills practiced during the course: During practical sessions under the instructor’s supervision, you’ll need to master specific procedures:????Pressure equalization methods: Learning to use special nose clips inside the mask.???? Clearing a flooded mask: Removing water from inside the mask underwater without taking it off.????"Bail-out" procedure: Completely removing the full-face mask underwater and switching to a traditional backup regulator (octopus) and a standard mask.????Buoyancy control: A full-face mask has a larger air volume and generates positive buoyancy around the head, which requires adjusting your body position.???????? Atmospheric Valve (SAV) Operation: Switching to breathing atmospheric air at the surface to conserve gas from the tank. Cavern & Cenote Diving diving at the Kőbánya Mine in Budapest.

Cavern & Cenote Diving diving at the Kőbánya Mine in Budapest.

DARCO Żagań Dive Center invites you to dive in Kőbánya mine in Budapest. Note: Everything is set to the last button, i.e. we have the green light from Hungary for the dive as well as a nice hotel, and after the dive we invite you to visit Buda and Pest. For the trip we invite divers and sightseeing relaxers. On the eastern side of Budapest there is a labyrinth of limestone corridors and halls that is the Kőbánya mine. Many, even the city's iconic buildings, were built from limestone extracted from this fossil. In later times, wine producers used it as cellars and since the 20th century the Dreher brewery has owned the site. During World War II, it housed a hidden aircraft engine factory. Nowadays, some of the halls and corridors are underwater, so you can dive in the cold but also crystal clear water. Most of these flooded industrial parts of the mine can only be visited by certified cave divers, but one site is open to all divers. Don't expect a typical mine dive. For the most part, these are basically flooded rooms and corridors of the factory so you won't find rails just stairs. You don't have to be a certified cave diver to dive Molnar Janos Cave or Kobanya Mine. You must have at least an advanced diver certificate (AOWD) and you must be an experienced diver. If you have the necessary experience you can participate in Intro to cave diving (discover cave diving). If you do not have any cave qualification, the minimum requirements are: - Diver certificate at least Advanced - at least 50 logged dives with several night dives - good buoyancy control and swimming technique (frog kick) - experience with Twinset will be an added advantage. Enriched Air Nitrox (40%)

Enriched Air Nitrox (40%)

As a nitrox diver, you will lengthen your bottom times and increase your safety margin on challenging dives. In addition, you'll shorten surface breaks - so you can spend more time diving, not waiting! In this course, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge by learning about safe dive planning and performing dives with oxygen-enriched air up to 40% oxygen content. Upon completion of the course, you will receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% Specialty Certificate. Nitrox (nitrox) - an oxygen-nitrogen mixture containing more than 21% oxygen. Reducing the amount of nitrogen in the mixture improves its properties for dives up to 40m. As a breathing medium, it is safer than air provided certain rules are followed. This is mainly about diving depth and exposure time. In the case of nitrox with 40% oxygen, you can use equipment (cylinder, breathing machine) used for air diving, when the oxygen content of the mixture exceeds 40%, you must use clean and oxygen-compatible equipment (otherwise an explosion may occur). Increasing the depth below 40m is not possible due to the toxic effects of oxygen at increased partial pressure above 1.6at or 1.4at depending on the diving organization. I present below some nitrox mixtures along with the limiting depths at a given maximum evaporative pressure. Currently, virtually no diving organization allows diving at an oxygen partial pressure greater than 1.4at. At the decompression stop oxygen partial pressure. additionally paid dives. information tel. 500 266 168

Independent Diving (Unabhängiges Tauchen).

Independent Diving (Unabhängiges Tauchen).

Independent DivingThe Independent Diving specialization is designed for the most experienced divers. The knowledge you will gain during this training on diving techniques, as well as equipment, will allow you to become a more independent and informed diver . You will learn to independently identify and solve problems you may encounter underwater. Whether you use this knowledge to dive alone or to increase the safety of your team is up to you....Duration: 2 daysnumber of dives: 3Small groups: -3 peopleDiving solo or with a partnerIf you've found yourself here, it means you've accumulated quite a few diving experiences during your years as a diver. Both the good ones and the bad ones. You probably realize that diving without a partner involves more risks than diving with a partner. However, if you accept them, it will be our job to equip you with a set of skills to minimize these risks.During Independent Diving training, you will learn how diving alone differs from diving in a partner system. You will learn the advantages and disadvantages of both systems. We will not continue to insist that partner diving is the only right way. You will decide for yourself which path you want to follow, being fully aware of the consequences that follow. We can especially recommend this training to people who have no other diving option than to dive solo, whether for lack of a partner or the tasks they set for themselves underwater. Any underwater photographer understands how comfortable it is to swim in the littoral zone alone and focus only on taking pictures. If you are a dive guide and you are leading a group of certified divers on an underwater tour then most likely none of them is your partner. Also, in the situation of a casual partner you have to rely only on yourself and solve most of the problems by yourself, there is no guarantee that your partner will give you effective help. By completing the Independent Diving - Independent Diving training, your safety will be significantly improved.Hardware configurationCompleting dives without a partner requires the use of duplicate equipment. Here you will complete your adventure with a typical recreational setup. Depending on the equipment and skills you have, we will select the appropriate training cycle. You will learn how to prepare your equipment, how to match it to the conditions, how to use new pieces of equipment, and how to solve problems you may encounter above and below the water. Stage, twinset or sidemount and their operation will no longer be a challenge for you. They are just a tool to achieve your diving goalsAs an independent diver, you will be able to rely fully on your skills regardless of your partner's level of training. You will learn the procedures for using your setup in the event of various types of problems as well as malfunctions. We promise that this course will be very challenging. However, it will allow you to build proper confidence and stress management skills.Price: 1900 PLNIndividual course:2650 PLNPrerequisites: certification in Deep Diving, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility once Diver Stress & Rescue or equivalent;18 years of age or older;75 logged dives.Sign up for training today and increase your safety on your next dives Contact us at 500 2661 68
