The SSI Extended Range Nitrox program provides a thorough introduction to the concepts, techniques, and procedures required when planning a decompression dive with nitrox. Designed as either a stand-alone program or as a stepping stone to SSI's Extended Range Nitrox Diving, this program provides the basic skills that are the foundation for all future technical programs. Using the XR Sidemount or Twinset Total Diving System, this program will prepare the diver to plan and execute limited decompression dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters / 130 feet. In addition, this advanced nitrox diving course will teach you techniques and procedures for using breathing gases up to 50% oxygen for decompression.

The SSI Snorkel Diver program is the first step towards discovering your inner mermaid. You do not need to be a proficient swimmer to participate in the Snorkel Diver program and there is no minimum age to join in. During this basic program you will learn everything you need to safely freedive with a buddy in a pool/enclosed water up to 5 meters deep. Restart your life! Become an SSI Instructor and turn your dreams into reality. The training process begins with joining a combination of the Assistant Instructor and Instructor Training courses. The entire program consists of theoretical lectures, pool and open water instruction, and is supplemented by digital instruction. Upon successful completion of the Instructor Training Course (ITC), you will pass the final "Instructor Evaluation (IE)" assessment to qualify as an SSI Open Water Instructor. This ten-day training program qualifies you to self-instruct various SSI core programs such as Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Perfect Buoyancy, Diver Stress & Rescue, and Dive Guide.
