This globally recognized certification program is the best way to begin your lifelong adventures as a certified scuba diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience required to become truly comfortable underwater. You will earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification.
Terceira: SSI Open Water Diver Course (3 Days Certification)
- Minimum age: 10 years
- No prior diving experience required
- Participants must be in good health condition
- A medical questionnaire must be completed before the course
- Flying is not recommended within 12–18 hours after diving
- Please arrive on time each day
- This course takes place over 3 consecutive days
- Subject to weather and sea conditions
- In case of cancellation due to weather, a full refund or rescheduling will be offered

Terceira: SSI Open Water Diver Course (3 Days Certification)
All prices include SSI Open Water Diver certification, digital learning materials, full diving equipment, confined water training, and open water dives.
There are no mandatory additional fees for certification, equipment, or boat dives.
Participants must complete the SSI medical questionnaire before the start of the course. If any medical condition is indicated, a physician’s approval may be required prior to participation.
The course requires a minimum age of 10 years and participants must be in good physical health and comfortable in the water.
The course is scheduled over 3 consecutive days; however, the exact timing and sequence of sessions may be adjusted depending on weather and sea conditions to ensure safety and optimal learning conditions.
In case of unfavorable weather or sea conditions, sessions may be rescheduled. If the activity is canceled by the operator due to weather and cannot be rescheduled, a full refund will be provided.
Participants who are unable to complete the course due to personal reasons (including medical issues, scheduling conflicts, or failure to meet course performance requirements) may not be eligible for a full refund. Partial certification or rescheduling options may be offered at the operator’s discretion.
Cancellations made in advance according to the platform’s cancellation policy are eligible for a full refund. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may be non-refundable.
Flying is not recommended within 12–18 hours after the last dive.
Participants must follow all instructor safety instructions at all times. Failure to do so may result in exclusion from the activity without refund.
