Decompression Diving

Prerequisites : - At least 100 dives of which at least 20 to a depth of 40 meters - Rescue + React right certification or equivalents - Deep certification - Nitrox certification - At least 16 years of age The SSI Decompression Diving specialization will teach you to dive beyond no-decompression limits. You will learn to plan and execute dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters with limited decompression, using your recreational Full Dive System and one decompression cylinder. You will learn and practice how to effectively use dive computer functions, including gas switching, gas integration, time to reserve and time to ascent. Using these computer functions will become second nature, allowing you to safely conduct limited decompression dives without hours of dive planning. Upon completion, you will be certified in SSI Decompression Diving and will be able to explore stunning deep dive sites or larger wrecks without being limited by traditional no-decompression limits. The possibilities for expanding your diving adventures just got bigger!
