This class is held at the Florida Springs and classes offered during this trip is Deep, Cavern, and Decompression. Please contact us if you would like any other class at this time. This is a 2 day class. The SSI Deep Diving Specialty will teach you all you need to dive to depths between 18 and 40 meters, through a mixture of academic sessions and open water dives.
You will learn to plan and safely complete your deep diving adventures and use computers and gas consumption calculations to get the most from your deep dives.
Are you ready to become a deep diver and explore deeper wrecks, coral-encrusted walls, reefs and more? Many exciting dive sites lie in deep waters and the SSI Deep Diver Course will teach you how to get there – safely and with confidence.
You will learn how to plan and conduct dives to between 60 and 130 feet deep and earn your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification.
Required Equipment for class: BCD(Buoyancy Control Device, Regulator Set consisting of a 1st Stage, Primary Air Supply 2nd stage, Alternate Air Supply Octopus, Submersible Pressure Gauge(SPG) showing air remaining in tank, all hoses to hook to 1st stage. A computer that measures depth and dive time, weight bag, weights, boots, Mask, fins, snorkel, DSMB, gear bag, antifog, 2 double enders hardware to attach hoses, octo holder, DSMB with spool or reel (Minimum 150’), Slate or Wetnotes
Included: SSI Online Deep Diver course, classroom and in-water instruction, certification fees & digital certification card
Not included: Rental equipment, air or NITROX fills, entrance or charter fees

3 Deep dives (1 deeper then 60 feet, 1 deeper then 80 feet, 1 deeper then 100 feet. Maximum depth 130feet.
Minimum Age 15 and Open Water and Nitrox Certified.

Students have one year from the date of registration to complete their course. In-water training for all programs must be completed within six (6) months of the last academic or in-water training session.
Students enrolled in classes involving in-water training are required to complete a medical questionnaire and may be required to obtain a physicians authorization prior to any in-water training. Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Upon completion, you will earn your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore beautiful deep dive sites wherever you choose. This SSI Specialty is also a prerequisite for some advanced training, making it the next logical step to take in your dive education.
