The SSI Sidemount program is designed to teach divers how to dive using tanks positioned on the sides of the body, rather than on the back.During the course, you will learn how to properly set up and use your sidemount equipment, as well as develop the skills necessary to achieve good buoyancy, trim, positioning, and equipment control. The SSI Open Water Diver is the certification course that allows you to explore the underwater world independently and safely, to a maximum depth of 18 metres.During the course, you will learn the essential knowledge and skills needed for scuba diving, from setting up and using your equipment to buoyancy control, finning techniques, underwater communication and safety procedures.The programme combines theory training, pool or confined-water sessions and several open-water dives, where you will put everything you have learned into practice under the supervision of an SSI Professional.Once you successfully complete the course, you will receive your SSI Open Water Diver certification, which is internationally recognised and allows you to continue exploring and progressing with your diving education.No previous diving experience is required to take this course. You simply need to be at least 10 years old and meet the relevant medical requirements.

As a Nitrox diver, you can increase your bottom times and safety margins, plus shorten your surface intervals - so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting! In this program, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge whilst learning how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen.
