SSI Dive Guide is a program that provides divers with the skills to safely guide other divers through dives. Dive Guide training is the first step in becoming a professional dive instructor. During training, participants learn how to plan and organize dives, properly use and maintain dive equipment, explore dive sites and ensure the safety of divers.
They also learn how to assess and improve the diving techniques and skills of other divers. The Dive Guide training includes theoretical lessons, practical exercises in the pool or confined water and dives in open water. Participants must meet certain requirements to complete the training and receive the Dive Guide certificate. After completing the training, Dive Guides can assist instructors in conducting courses, organize and conduct dives for certified divers and lead divers on dive sites. They can also work as assistants on dive trips or in dive centers. Dive guide training is a great way for divers to expand their skills, improve their diving experience and share their passion for diving with others.
