This specialty course provides you with the knowledge and advanced skills you need to navigate safely and confidently underwater. You will learn the correct use of the compass, natural navigation techniques, estimating distances, leaving and returning to a given point and simple navigation patterns. You will also learn how to combine navigation techniques to optimize your diving experience. All of this will sharpen your underwater observation skills, increase your diving safety and help you get the most out of every dive. Upon completion of the course, you will receive the SSI Navigation Specialty certification.

This diving course requires no prior knowledge and includes theoretical and practical training for independent diving. The course concludes with the international Open Water Diver certificate. Modular diving course structure The "Open Water Diver" (OWD) diving course consists of 3 training parts: Theory training Swim training Open water training Our diving courses are structured in a modular system. If you are unable to attend all the course dates of a diving course, you have the option of completing your training modules spread over several diving courses. Equipment Our school equipment is regularly serviced in our in-house service center and is replaced with the latest equipment on the market after one year. Of course, every diving student is provided with their own equipment during the entire course. Furthermore, every student receives a new ABC set at the beginning of the course which can be returned at the end or purchased at a special one-off price. The SSI Science of Diving Specialty course provides you with a comprehensive understanding of the underwater world and its effects on the human body. The course is the foundation for most SSI Professional courses and some Extended Range courses and is an essential part of deepening your diving knowledge. You can complete your SSI Science of Diving Specialty certification online from the comfort of your own home. Upon completion of the course, you will be halfway to the coveted SSI Divemaster and receive your Science of Diving certification.

The Dive Guide course provides you with the necessary skills and experience to safely and reliably lead dives for certified divers. Dive guides are also permitted to conduct snorkeling training as snorkeling instructors. The aim of the dive guide training is to train professional, well-trained and versatile diving professionals. As part of the training, great emphasis is therefore placed on practical relevance, flexibility as well as professional and social competence. As all other Dive Professional courses build on the Dive Guide course, good training is a fundamental necessity for the next steps and makes them much easier.
