This specialty program will provide you with the knowledge and advanced skills you need to navigate safely and confidently underwater. You will learn how to properly use a compass, natural navigation techniques, distance estimation, leaving and returning to a specific point, and simple navigation patterns. You will also learn how to combine navigation techniques to optimize your diving experience. All of this will contribute to improving your underwater observation skills, increasing your safety while diving and getting the most out of every dive. Upon completion of the course, you will be certified as an SSI Navigation Specialty.

Night dives require completely different skills than daylight dives. SSI's Night Diving and Limited Visibility Specialty Program is the best way to learn all about night diving and learn the necessary techniques to become a safe and confident night diver. In this program you will learn all the knowledge and skills you need to dive safely and relaxed at night or in low visibility. In a balanced combination of online lessons and open water dives, you will learn how to use special equipment, proper entry and exit techniques, and how to communicate with your dive partner at night and in low visibility. Upon completion of the course, you will be certified as an SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility Specialty and ready to dive in the dark with confidence.

As a deep diver, you have the unique opportunity to discover some of the world's best dive sites and most sought-after underwater life. There is so much waiting for you in the dark blue water. In a balanced combination of theory classes and open water dives, you'll learn everything you need for dives between 18 and 40 meters in SSI's Deep Diving Specialization. You will learn how to plan, safely complete your deep diving adventures, use dive computer calculations and plan your gas consumption to maximize your dives. Upon completion of the course, you will receive your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore the most beautiful deep dive sites anywhere you want. This SSI specialty is also a prerequisite for other advanced training programs, making it the next logical step in your diving education.

With Dry Suit Diving certification, you can dive anywhere in the world in warmth and comfort all year round. It's the best way to significantly extend your diving season and explore cold-water diving areas without getting cold. In this program, you'll learn everything you need to be safe and comfortable in a dry suit and practice techniques to help you handle tricky situations with your dive gear. Upon completion of the course, you will be certified as an SSI Dry Suit Diver.

To shorten your surface intervals and extend your dive time, participate in the Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty program. As a nitrox diver, you can enjoy longer and safer decompression-free times and shorter surface intervals. You'll be able to spend more time exploring your favorite dive sites and less time waiting to dive. It's the perfect program to minimize fatigue and make the most of your dive time, especially if you're planning multiple dives per day. In addition to learning new diving skills, you will expand your knowledge and learn how to plan and safely execute a dive with enriched air mixtures with up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion of the course, you will receive SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification with 32% or 40%.

This globally recognized training program is the best way to start your lifelong adventure as a certified diver. One-on-one instruction is combined with in-water training, giving you the skills and experience needed to feel truly comfortable underwater. Upon completion of the course, you will be certified as an SSI Open Water Diver.

The purpose of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to dive safely and comfortably under the ice. You will learn about the special requirements for diving in an enclosed environment, techniques and communication methods as well as how to properly use special equipment for ice diving.

React Right SSI is a first aid course that provides you with the training and knowledge needed to provide first aid in the event of a medical emergency. In this flexible diving program, you can choose which topics you want to learn, including primary assessment, first aid, CPR and primary stabilization techniques. You can also learn about administering oxygen in diving emergencies and the basics of using an automated external defibrillator (AED). With a combination of theoretical sections and practical training scenarios, this program will give you the tools and confidence you need to respond in emergency situations. By the time you gain certification, you will be able to act as a paramedic, provide first aid and CPR, administer oxygen and provide AED support in a medical emergency. Earn certification for the SSI React Right specialty.

Sidemount Diving is now common practice for many wreck and cave divers. More and more divers are discovering the benefits of this method of diving without a heavy bottle on their back, which provides greater freedom and a new feeling when balancing. Easy pre-dive handling, with individual bottles being carried and prepared more easily. Subsequent transport to the water and the dive itself is simply more enjoyable than the twin on the back.

SSI's specialized Diver Stress and Rescue program teaches you the skills you need to protect yourself and other divers. You will learn how to recognize stress, how to prevent accidents, and learn practical techniques for performing rescue procedures and providing emergency assistance. Through a combination of pool and open water training, you will be well prepared and confident in dealing with emergency and rescue situations. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty certification.

The Dive Guide program is the first step on an exciting journey. Learn to safely guide certified divers in a variety of environments and conditions. By providing briefings, evaluating sites and leading dives, you will become a trusted Dive Guide in no time. Start your professional dive journey and work as a Dive Guide or go on to gain your Divemaster award.

Diving in Austria's Lake Attersee equates to spectacular diving in a glacial lake with visibility of up to 20 meters. Lake Attersee is the third largest and third deepest lake in Austria, reaching a magical depth of 171m in places. The Salzkammergutberge Alpine Mountains tower over the Austrian lakes, with its highest point at 2028m above sea level, and the site itself offers more than 20 dive sites suitable for both novice divers and experienced technical divers. And that's where we're going now ... so get ready for a wonderful long weekend in the Alps in April. We'll be staying in the town of Weyregg just a short drive from the divecenter, diving, mountains, diving again and lots of fun. At these sites we can finish with the specialties Deep diver, Nitrox, Navigation, Dry Suit or Altitude diving. We will select sites based on the experience of each member of our expedition. Trip plan: 1 day arrival to Attersee lake, accommodation and possibly one dive; 2 day diving 2 shore dives; 3 day diving 2 shore dives and departure. If you love diving but are satisfied with diving under the supervision of an SSI professional to a maximum depth of 12m, the Scuba Diver course is for you. The SSI Scuba Diver course will provide you with the knowledge and training to dive to a maximum depth of 12m. under the direct supervision of an SSI professional. The student will undergo partial Open Water Diver training during the training.

Independent diver in purpose-built pools or aquariums. The SSI Indoor Diver course is designed primarily for those who do not wish to dive in open water but are attracted to working in aquariums or pools for example, taking photographs, filming or perhaps cleaning. During the training, the student will go through practically the entire training of the Open Water Diver course, except for the open water training. Upon completion of the program, you will be certified as an SSI Indoor Diver.

Dive longer, explore more remote locations, and discover new opportunities with an underwater scooter. With SSI's Scooter Diver / DPV specialization, you'll make the most of your time underwater, have more fun and reach more remote locations at your favorite sites. In this course, you will learn how to safely plan and execute dives using an underwater scooter. Upon completion of the program, you will earn your SSI Scooter / DPV Diving Specialty certification.
