With a combination of theory and practical exercise scenarios, this course will give you important tools and the confidence to provide emergency assistance. The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty course is the best course to learn how to protect yourself and other divers. You will learn how to recognize stress, avoid accidents and apply practical techniques for performing rescues and emergency care. After completing the course, you will receive the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue Specialty certification.

The SSI Science of Diving Specialty course provides you with a comprehensive understanding of the underwater world and its effects on the human body. The course serves as the foundation for most SSI Professional courses as well as for some Extended Range courses and is an essential component for deepening your diving expertise. You can earn your SSI Science of Diving Specialty certification online from home. Upon completing the course, you’ll be halfway to earning the coveted SSI Divemaster certification and will receive your Science of Diving certification.
