Open Water Course

Open Water Course

The SSI Open Water Course is the first step into the world of scuba diving. It is designed for beginners who want to learn how to dive safely and comfortably while discovering the underwater world.

The course is usually completed over 3 days and includes three main parts. First, the digital theory, which you can do online at your own pace to learn the basics of diving, equipment, safety, and how the underwater environment works. Then you will practice important skills during confined water sessions (pool or shallow water) to become comfortable using the equipment and breathing underwater. Finally, you will complete four open water dives in the ocean, where you apply everything you learned with your instructor.

By the end of the course, you will receive your SSI Open Water Diver certification, which allows you to dive up to 18 meters anywhere in the world with a certified dive buddy.

It’s a fun and exciting course that opens the door to a lifetime of underwater adventures.
