Open Water Diver - Your first key to the amazing underwater world Are you ready for a new adventure? The Open Water Diver course will give you the knowledge to discover the magical world underwater safely and confidently. This certification is the gateway to exploring coral reefs, wrecks and beautiful underwater landscapes - completely independently! You will learn: Basic diving techniques and safety procedures. How to use diving equipment correctly. How to plan and conduct dives safely. How to communicate with other divers below the surface. To feel safe and comfortable in the water, whether you are a beginner or have dived before. We at Dykhuset in Stockholm have extensive experience in training divers as we are Sweden's oldest dive center. Since the start in 1982, we have trained everything from beginners to instructors and our goal is to give you a proper, safe and fun diving education. Many of those who complete the course here at home also choose to take a dry suit certificate in connection with this. Open Water Diver Abroad Course - Referral This is an option for those who have planned a trip within 12 months of your course start and do not want to use your lovely vacation days to read theory, sit in classrooms and practice diving in pools. Referral means transfer and means in the diving context that you do all the theory and pool training on a regular Open Water Diver course in Sweden but do the outdoor dives elsewhere. Apart from the obvious advantage that you avoid studying on vacation, you get most of the course in Swedish but get to do your first outdoor dives in warmer waters. You only pay for your outdoor dives at the receiving dive center - certification is already paid....
