Und wer möchte schon auftauchen, wenn gerade ein paar Mantas über den Köpfen fliegen oder ein neugieriger Delfin zum Spielen auffordert?? What’s the point of navigating underwater?Anyone who has ever dived in tropical waters is familiar with the dive guide’s instructions before the dive: “We’ll descend along the reef on our right shoulder, and at a depth of 17m, you’ll see the wreck lying at 140°…” Now you have two options: stick close to the dive guide’s fins or navigate on your own. Furthermore, once you reach a certain depth, you no longer have the option to “just” ascend to see where you are. So you’ll need to find your way underwater using natural navigation and your compass. And these skills give you added safety!
