As a nitrox diver, you will lengthen your bottom times and increase your safety margin on challenging dives. In addition, you'll shorten surface breaks - so you can spend more time diving, not waiting! In this course, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge by learning about safe dive planning and performing dives with oxygen-enriched air up to 40% oxygen content. Upon completion of the course, you will receive your SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% Specialty Certificate.

In the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue course, you will learn skills to help you and other divers. You'll learn how to recognize stress and prevent accidents, and learn practical techniques for performing rescues and first aid. Through a combination of pool sessions and open-water training dives, you will become a well-prepared and confident rescuer in emergency and rescue situations. Upon completion of the course, you will receive your SSI Diver Stress and Rescue specialty certification.

Prerequisites : - At least 100 dives of which at least 20 to a depth of 40 meters - Rescue + React right certification or equivalents - Deep certification - Nitrox certification - At least 16 years of age The SSI Decompression Diving specialization will teach you to dive beyond no-decompression limits. You will learn to plan and execute dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters with limited decompression, using your recreational Full Dive System and one decompression cylinder. You will learn and practice how to effectively use dive computer functions, including gas switching, gas integration, time to reserve and time to ascent. Using these computer functions will become second nature, allowing you to safely conduct limited decompression dives without hours of dive planning. Upon completion, you will be certified in SSI Decompression Diving and will be able to explore stunning deep dive sites or larger wrecks without being limited by traditional no-decompression limits. The possibilities for expanding your diving adventures just got bigger!

The Divemaster program, consisting of the Dive Guide and Science of Diving courses, is the first step in a unique journey. Earn the respect of your dive partners and become an ambassador of diving by participating in the program. All that is required to start the course and earn your Dive Guide credential is 40 verified/verified dives and Deep Diving, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility credentials or at least 5 logged/verified dives of each type plus the Diver Stress & Rescue course. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be a certified Dive Guide with Dive Guide privileges. If you want to turn your passion into a profession by guiding dives for certified divers, conducting Environmental Specialties, assisting instructors or even becoming an instructor yourself, the next step is Divemaster Upgrade. Requires 60 logged/verified dives. Make the upgrade to Divemaster immediately or at any time by reading the Science of Diving course materials yourself and passing the Digital Final Exam, which makes you an SSI Professional.
