React Right is SSI's first aid and emergency course: it gives you the training and knowledge you need to act as a first responder in a medical emergency. This dive program is totally flexible, so you can choose the topics that interest you, such as primary care, first aid, CPR and primary stabilization techniques. You can also learn the basics of automatic external defibrillation (AED) and oxygen administration in emergency diving situations. This program, which combines academic sessions and hands-on training scenarios, gives you the tools and confidence you need to perform correctly. When you earn your certification, you'll be able to respond and administer first aid, CPR and oxygen and offer assistance with an AED in the event of a medical emergency. The Open Water Diver (OWD) course with Divers' Refuge, an internationally recognized certification from Scuba School International (SSI), is ideal to start your adventures as a certified diver. The SSI Try Scuba program is the best way to dive for the first time. You'll dive in a pool or confined water accompanied by an accredited instructor, who will be by your side at all times so you can enjoy this unforgettable underwater experience and let the magic of scuba diving take you away. When you complete this short program, you will get your SSI Try Scuba recognition card and no doubt, you will be looking forward to diving again. As a Nitrox Diver, you'll be able to increase your bottom times and safety margins and reduce surface intervals, so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting. The SSI Explorers program allows children ages six and up to dive underwater and explore the aquatic world around them in a variety of ways. They will gain a solid foundation in ocean conservation and have the opportunity to experience four major aquatic adventures: snorkeling, scuba diving, freediving and swimming.
