Without proper training, this kind of diving puts you at risk. The SSI Deep Diving Specialty will give you the ability to safely and comfortably plan and conduct dives beyond 18 meters, and is a prerequisite for some advanced training. You will earn the SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification. after completing this program.Student prerequisites:Age: 15 years oldMinimum certification level: Open Water DiverMinimum amount of dives: 4 open divesThis course could be done in 2 half-days. As we always do 2 dives during the morning session, we recommend you to combine it with a fun-dive-package. If you want to stick to the 3 dives, we would ask you to start with an afternoon session and then a morning session on the second day. We will increase the depth with every dive, and we usually do deep dives in the mornings.

The SSI Wreck Specialty Course consists of online theory and 2 training dives, more information can be found on our website:https://maltablue.com/product/wreck-diver/Many of the ocean’s best dive sites have artificial reefs, or wrecks that have sunk through the ages. This program gives you the skills and knowledge required to safely scuba dive above and around these underwater treasures. You will earn the SSI Wreck Diving certification after completing this program.Student prerequisites:Age: 10 years oldMinimum certification level: Open Water DiverMinimum amount of dives: 4 open water divesThis course could be done in 1 half-day and all the required equipment and online theory are included in the price.

In the SSI Basic Diver program, you will learn the skills and knowledge you need to try diving up to 12 meters deep with an SSI Professional. It is a great way to explore the underwater world more fully as you try diving. The entire Basic Diver program can be credited towards the Scuba Diver or Open Water Dive programs within 6 months, so you can take the next step in your dive adventure. We will do 1 dive in the pool and 2 in Open Water

If it has been more than 6-12 months (depending on the total amount of logged dives) since your last dive, we highly recommend doing a refresh dive. We can start with a refresh dive during which we'll brush up your memory regarding the most important theoretical diving principles (equalization, signs, etc.), do a couple of skills (mask and regulator clearing, etc.), and use the remaining time and air to do a dive. If you wish to do another dive afterwards, we can offer an additional normal fun dive. Regarding the price, this would be €90 for the refresh dive or €150 for the refresh and fun dive, including equipment.

By dive 2, you're relaxed and actually enjoying the experience. That's when the magic happens. The second dive is where you'll really feel like a diver, not just someone trying diving.What your experience looks like:Theory & Equipment (30 min): We'll teach you the basics—how to breathe underwater, equalize your ears, and communicate with hand signals. Simple stuff.Pool or Shallow Bay: We start in calm, shallow water, where we will practice few skills (clearing your mask, breathing from the regulator) until you are comfortable.Dive 1: After we make sure you are feeling comfortable, we head into the sea for a cool dive. You will see fish, maybe an octopus or a moray eel, and experience what diving is really about. This is the dive you will remember.Break: Coffee, tea, relax, and chat about how it felt.Dive 2: If you opt for 2 dives, we go back to the sea after taking a break and explore the other side of the beautiful reef!Everything is includedEquipment, instruction, tanks, weights, and coffee/tea. The SSI Scuba Diver Course consists of 3 theory sessions (online), 3 pool training sessions of scuba skills, and 2 dives in Open Water to a maximum depth of 12 meters. This course is intended for people who are not yet in the possession of a first aid and CPR certification or need to update their first aid and CPR certification.React Right is SSI’s emergency training program, consisting of the following basic components: Primary Assessment, First Aid & CPR Skills, Primary Stabilization Techniques, and includes two optional components: Oxygen Administration in Diving Emergencies and Automated External Defibrillation Basics. Students who complete this program earn the SSI React Right specialty certification.

In this specialty program, you will gain the advanced skills and knowledge you need to safely and confidently navigate underwater. You will learn how to use a compass and natural navigation techniques, estimate distance, how to leave and return to a designated point, plus basic navigation patterns. You will also be taught how to combine navigation techniques to enhance your diving experience. All of which hones your underwater observation skills, improves your dive safety and helps you to get the most out of every dive. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Navigation Specialty certification.

As a Nitrox diver, you can increase your bottom times and safety margins, plus shorten your surface intervals - so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting! In this program, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge whilst learning how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion, you will earn an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification.

The Divemaster program is the first step on an exciting journey. Earn the respect of your dive buddies and become an ambassador for diving by taking the Divemaster program. All you need to get started are 40 verified/logged dives and certifications in Deep Diving, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility or at least 5 logged/verified dives experience in each area plus Diver Stress & Rescue. You will be certified as a Dive Guide after successfully completing the Divemaster program. When your interest is to turn your passion into a profession by guiding certified divers, teaching Ecology programs, assisting instructors or even becoming an instructor yourself, your next step is the Divemaster Upgrade with a minimum of 60 logged/verified. Upgrade to Divemaster right away or any time after by self-studying the Science of Diving materials, passing the Digital Final Exam which makes you an SSI Professional.

Night diving requires different skills from diving during the day. The SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility specialty is the best way to learn about night diving and practice the techniques you will need to become a safe and confident night diver. In this program, you will be provided with all the knowledge and skills you need to safely and comfortably dive at night or in limited visibility conditions. With a combination of online learning and open water training dives, you will learn how to enter and exit the water, use specialized equipment, and how to communicate with your buddy easily at night or in limited visibility. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility specialty certification and be ready to go night diving with confidence.

Many of the ocean’s best dive sites are wrecks. These impressive structures attract unusually high densities of marine life and give you the chance to immerse in living history as you dive. There is nothing quite like wreck diving and the SSI Wreck Diving specialty will give you all the skills and knowledge you need to become a safe and confident wreck diver. With a combination of academic and confined water sessions, you will be taught how to safely conduct non-penetration dives around wrecks and artificial reefs, up to a depth of 30 meters. You will also get to practice your wreck diving skills during open water training dives. All of which will ensure you can enjoy wreck diving with confidence and get the most out of every dive.
