DC3 Undercarriage (Wreck)
This dive site contains the wing assembly, wheel, and propellor parts from a DC3 aircraft that vanished in the mid-1940s. It was picked up and deposited by a trawler in the 1990s. The remainder of the plane and it’s 6 occupants still remains undiscovered as of 2019.
The wing assembly provides habitat and shelter for large wobbegong sharks as well as various shrimp and crayfish.
