A shallow entry directly from the campsite after a short dive time in the direction of the middle of the lake you reach a wonderful steep wall which drops to about 34m at full water. Dive site subject to registration

One of the most famous deep dive sites in NRW. The maximum depth is around 42 meters. There are many training platforms at different depths. The local diving regulations must be observed. There is a detailed diving map on the website.
★★★★☆ Sorpesee Sommertauchplatz
Beginner friendly dive site with a maximum depth at full stow of 26m. Flat sloping bottom makes slow descent easy. The dive site is located in a protected bay and is marked with pre-installed buoys.
★★★★☆ Listertalsperre - Kalberschnacke
The dive site Kalberschnake is characterized by a large parking lot 20m from the gravelled entrance, from which the shore slowly descends to a depth of up to 13m. Partly remains from past times before the flooding can be found.

The lake offers mostly best visibility and less than 6 meters visibility is a rarity. A practice platform and various sights are sunk in the lake.

Divespot is nearby a Sailorsclub an an Swimming Area, ist a spot with 25m depth and under 6m depth a good visibility but we say bring a light because it can be dark at depth.

20 metres deep, 10 metres in diameter and over 3,000,000 litres of water. The visibility here is of course excellent. It remains the ideal place to practice, try out and train over the winter.

This lake in the mountain is beautifully situated right on the mountain. The water is clear and rather cool. The training to become a Deep Diver is especially fun here. You could go down to a depth of 45 meters and with 480 meters of altitude, this is considered an altitude dive.
