Hitdorfer See, Leverkusen

The Hitdorfer See is a former dredging lake just under 10 hectares in size; 473 meters long and 273 meters wide. The maximum depth is 18m. Due to gently sloping banks, the lake is suitable for beginners to dive. There are two training platforms at 5m and 9m depth.

In the lake there are perch, pike, eels, carp, roach, and crayfish as well as triangular mussels and basket mussels.
