
One of the largest shipwrecks in Okinawa. It takes about 20 minutes by boat from Kouri Island, which is located in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island and is the longest bridge in Okinawa. The 106-meter-long battleship is lying on the bottom of the water with the original model intact.
It is located a few hundred meters north of the floating island. This area has a sandy bottom with many fine fan corals. The maximum depth is 16 meters and the average depth is 10-15 meters.
South to South, located south of Ukihara Minami Island, is just outside the Uruma Barrier Reef. At this dive site, you can see some of the largest Ryukyu cabbage corals found in the area. Because it is just outside the barrier reef, the maximum depth is 30 meters.
Coral shape looks like the world heritage “Cappadocia“ in Turkey. Located outer reef of “Miruchibishi“. Depth range from 30m to 10m at shallow. Visibility is good from 20-40m.
One of the famous macro dive site. Shape like Mt. Fuji, depth range from 20m to 4m on the top of the mount. Water visibility 10-20m. Occasional tidal current.
Yokohishi, located in Uruma City, Okinawa, is the site where you can see the largest common shikoro coral (commonly known as mussel coral) on the main island of Okinawa. It is much smaller than it used to be, but it is still worth seeing. Following the sandy passage there, you will find a series of two roots with huge isobana, which is really photogenic. The maximum depth is around 22 meters. The current can be quite strong during high tide.
The Pink Marlin Buoy in Onna Village, Okinawa, is a top dive site about an hour from Naha Airport. Accessible by boat or beach, it’s famous for the “Blue Cave,” where sunlight creates a stunning blue glow. You can surface inside, though expect many snorkelers.
This site is a 10 minute boat ride from Toya Fishery Port. The depth range is 5m to 18m. There is no current and many snorkelers and beginning divers can enjoy this site. This spot is known as Kumanomi (Anemone Fish) Paradise. As the nickname shows, there you can see many & various species of anemone fish.
