Kin Red Beach
Red Beach in Kanatake, Okinawa, is a calm, year-round site sheltered from northerly winds. With shallow sandy-muddy terrain, it’s ideal for beginners and macro divers. While visibility is low, the rich variety of marine life makes it a favorite among critter enthusiasts.
Red Beach, a “nudibranch sanctuary,” hosts abundant nudibranchs, monoceros and anemone shrimp, frogfish, leaf eels, and swallow fish near artificial structures.
