Yamada Sunachi
★★★★☆
(135)
Yamada Sandy Area, about 5 minutes from Kaneku Port, features a sandy seabed with antlion-like terrain and transplanted corals. A vibrant cluster of finger corals thrives to the south. Once home to the rare tomato clownfish, it vanished after being stolen with its anemone in 1990.
Finger coral hosts snapper, damselfish, and rare species like Yasha goby and pygmy seadragon. Tomato clownfish is absent.
