Established in 1999, Maldivers is a prominent local dive centre offering exceptional diving experiences. In 2022, Maldivers expanded its operations to Dhiffushi, a charming local island in North Malé Atoll. Boasting several Guest Houses and being in close proximity to some of the region’s finest dive sites, Dhiffushi provides an ideal base for divers.

At Maldivers, we offer daily dive trips, allowing divers to explore the breathtaking underwater wonders of the Maldives daily. We provide Scuba Schools International (SSI) dive programs, catering to divers of all levels. From one-day experience programs and Try Scuba Diving sessions to the comprehensive Open Water Diver course and various Specialty Diver Courses. We also offer professional-level programs for those aspiring to pursue a career in diving. We aim to cater to divers of all skill and experience levels, from solo travelers, to diving families. We do provide diving plus accommodation packages as well.

Dhiffushi is a local island in North Malé (Kaafu) Atoll, known for its charming fishing heritage. As soon as tourism opened to local community islands, several guesthouses popped up, providing accommodation for visitors. The island is known for the local community’s warm hospitality, making it a welcoming place for tourists. There are some cafes and restaurants on the island offering a taste of different types of cuisine. Several speed boat ferries travel daily to Dhiffushi from Malé and the International Airport, making it convenient for travellers. In addition to relaxing on the beautiful white sandy beaches, visitors can enjoy many ocean-based activities such as snorkelling, diving, and excursions, making Dhiffushi a perfect getaway for those seeking both adventure and relaxation.

★★★★★ Aquarium / Lhohifushi Corner

This dive site is located right next to the island. The long reef ends into a corner of the canal. Here you can see several highlights. A very nice dive site for beginners as well as experienced divers.

★★★★★ HP Reef / Rainbow Reef

One of the most colorful dive sites in North Male Atoll. On the south side of Girifushi island with abundant fish life and very nice soft corals, there are numerous blue soft corals and a swim through. The current can be strong!

★★★★☆ Sunlight Thila

Sunlight Thila is a formation of two small reefs that attract giant manta rays between March and October. Between the reefs lies a 60-meter long sandy bottom boasting small coral formations with plenty of cleaner wrasses.

★★★★☆ Okobe Thila

This amazing reef are 3 blocks. The biggest begins in the south between 80-100m long and it's full of corals, it would be nice we can start here. In the east we have another wonderful block a bit similar to east block Maya Thila covert full with corals. In the north is the smallest block. AOW or higher

★★★★☆ Himmafushi Corner

Himmafushi Corner is a drift dive, best suited for divers with a lot of experience as this dive is deep and can have strong currents. The corner slopes from 5 to 30m and after that comes to a small drop off to 45/50m. This dive should only be conducted during the incoming current.

★★★★☆ Nassimo Thila

Probably one of the best Thilas in the whole North Male area. There are several pinnacles on the north of the Thila, where the main fish are, along with beautiful coral formations and sea fans. Wonderful dive for experienced divers due to the strong current.

★★★★☆ Kani Corner

Kani Corner is basically a slope that goes to 25 - 30 m in a sandy bottom. There are some big blocks this deep and at the right time, mantas visit the blocks or pass by the top of the reef. The current can be strong so take caution.

★★★★☆ One Palm Finolhu

This is a gently sloping reef, ideal for beginners and advanced divers. There are many large coral blocks on the reef. This site is great for night diving as well.

★★★★☆ Colosseum

Colosseum is located on the west side of the island of Thulusdhoo. At the corner to the channel there is a large indentation in the form of a Roman amphitheatre at approx. 20m. This form is the epitome of the dive site and, at the same time, a meeting place for many marine creatures.

★★★★★ Viligili Corner

Viligili Corner is a really nice drift dive. The current can be really strong during the southwest monsoon and is precisely the best moment to dive here. It offers the best chance to gray reef or white tip sharks at the coral rocks at 25 meters.

★★★★☆ Lankan Beyru

Lankan is a cleaning station for manta rays and scuba divers visiting often get to see an amazing manta show, one of the highlights of any trip to the Maldives.

★★★★☆ Lankan Caves

Cool drift dive that also always brings current with it. Start either near the Manta Point or, with less current, directly at the channel entrance. The caves are rather overhangs that range from 12 to 30m. For the more experienced there is a deep nose in the middle of the current.

★★★★★ 5 Palms, Thulusdhoo

5 Palms is a fun drift dive that has something to offer for every level of diver. The top of the reef starts at 5m and drops down at 8m. At 22/25m there is a sandy plateau on the edge of which big fish appear from time to time.

Fifteen minutes by boat from the Joy Island. Beautiful coral reef start from 4m on the top reef. full of table corals reef. the side of the coral garden is like a wall with beautiful caves.

★★★★☆ Kassanfaru Corner

Dive site located North East. 15 Minutes from the Joy Island. Usually a drift dive following the contour of the reef. If the current is slow, more time can be spent exploring the rocks (cleaning station).
