Koh Haa’s scuba diving highlights include The Lagoon, The Cathedral and The Chimney. There are also underwater pinnacles, drop-offs, walls, caverns, inter-connected chambers and swim throughs to explore. The marine life that can be found at Koh Haa varies from rare Ghost Pipefish measuring only few centimetres, to an Octopus hiding amongst the rocks and crevices. A Hawksbill Turtle is often seen swimming amongst the pristine coral. One of Koh Haa’s highlights is the series of caverns and swim-throughs. The largest cavern has three chambers and is known as The Cathedral. The first two chambers are connected by a shallow swim through at about 9 metres. You can find banded sea snakes, lionfish, nudibranches, frogfish, harlquin shrimps and many many others... Our big boat is going to Koh Haa 3 times per week.

KOH BIDA KOH BIDA NAI Koh Bida Nai has an amazing topography of underwater crevices, huge boulders and fields of staghorn reef. Leopard sharks are quite common in this area, especially on the eastern side of the island. Blacktip Reef sharks and Whitetip Reef sharks have been known to make apperances in the area and be sure not to startle bamboo sharks which may be hiding under the rocks or in cracks. KOH BIDA NOK Boasting a remarkably dramatic underwater topography, Koh Bida Nok is characterized by steep precipices, caves, swim throughs and underwater crags. It is no wonder that Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai are the two most popular divesites in the Phi Phi islands. Kuhl’s stingrays are common in the area and look out for small bamboo sharks in cracks. Look to the blue beyond the reef and you may also see schools of pickhandle barracudas and bigeye snapper. Along the reef, you will also find a variety of colorful reef fish, such as pufferfish, porcupinefish and lionfish. Our big boat is going to Koh Bida 3 times per week.

Around the Phi Phi islands there are many attractive dive sites with beautiful scenery and frequent appearance of Black Tip and Leopard Sharks. Usually we visit following sites: Pallong Wall, Maya Corner and Viking Cave. Special attention must be payed to the shipwreck, which was sank in front of the Viking Cave in June 2013 to create an underwater attraction. Kled Gaeow Wreck is a gunship 47 m of length, resting on the sandy bottom in front of the Viking Cave. The depth on the bottom reaches 26 m and the top of the wheelhouse is 14 m under the sea surface. The wreck is surrounded by huge schools of big fish. Its interior is home for many smaller species – schools of small Barracudas among others. In many different places, one may find many Stone Fishes and Frog Fishes. Very special are great Lion Fishes hanging around almost everywhere. One may also see sharks out in the blue. In general, it is very beautiful and unforgettable dive site.

★★★★★ Koh Bida Nok

This is one our favourite dive sites since it has the widest range of wildlife. The reef gently slopes down from the island apart from the wall at the south west which drops 22-26 meters.

★★★★☆ Koh Haa Lagoon

Dive the famous Lagoon, Cathedral and Chimney dive sites. The dive sites at Koh Haa boast stunning visibility, pristine corals and a great variety of marine life from super-macro to the largest fish in the sea!

★★★★★ Viking Cave

Viking Cave has a striking bay and a beautiful cave above the water, but the real deal is underwater a few hundred meters to the north of Viking Cave. A few years ago, the Phuket Marine Conservation department put down a beautiful artificial reef to re-establish marine life after the tsunami.

★★★★★ Koh Haa Yai (Cathedral)

Koh Haa Yai is the largest of this group of islands. Often mistakenly called Koh Haa Five, many divers love to visit the three large caverns on the south west of Koh Haa Yai. Two of the caverns are inter-connecting via a large round swim-through and the largest is often referred to as The Cathedral.

★★★★☆ Koh Bida Nai

One of many dive sites at Phi Phi islands. Small rocky island south from Phi Phi Lee. Diving depht starts at 5 meters and goes to 30 meters plus. This site lies just to the north of Koh Bida Nok and is made of limestone cliffs hosting a large array of marine life.

★★★★☆ Hin Muang

Here you will find Thailand’s highest vertical wall, bejewelled with vibrant purple soft corals. One side of the submerged rock levels out at around 60 metres and the other disappears into the abyss. Vast carpets of anemones cover shallower sections of the reef while sea fans cling precariously to the steep walls.

★★★★☆ Shark Point (Hin Bida)

Shark Point is one the most famous and popular diving sites of Koh Phi Phi. It is maybe the best place to spot many Leopard Sharks resting and sleeping. The site consists of a large rock going down to 22 meters deep on a sandy bottom where the Sharks usually stay. Don’t worry, this kind of Shark is totally harmles

★★★★★ RTN Kled Gaeow (Wreck)

Decommissioned in 2014, the ship was donated and purposely sunk via controlled explosion to create a new dive site on 19 March 2014. The 47 metre long wreck sits almost upright (20 degree list) facing north to south (bow-stern), some 800-1000m to the east of Piley Bay (Ko Phi Phi Ley).

★★★★☆ Mushroom Rock

Mushroom Rock is the first dive site after the northern tip of Phi Phi Ley, on the west side of the island. A site formed of large pinnacles reaching the surface including the one shaped like a mushroom.

★★★★☆ Maya Corner, Maya Bay

Found on the west side of Koh Phi Phi Lei is the beautiful Maya Bay, made famous for being the location of the movie ‘The Beach.’ The dive site of Maya Corner starts just inside the bay’s northern entrance, and follows the coastline north. It is a steep shelved reef, with occasional sections of walls.

★★★★☆ Hin Daeng/หินแดง

This is a submerged boulder pinnacle where, looking at the bare rocks above water, you would have no idea that it is such a beautiful dive site below water. Healthy soft corals in various shades of red are all around here and plenty of small scale action goes on.

★★★★★ Koh Haa Neua #1

Recently seen around Koh Haa Neung are zebra sharks, black trip reef sharks, several different whale sharks, devil (mobular) rays, nurse shark, eagle ray, guitarfish and many other larger species, making the group of 6 islands at Koh Haa one of the top dive and snorkel locations in Thailand.

★★★★★ Malong Bay/Turtle Rock

On the West side of Phi Phi Leh , north of Maya Bay, there is the bay of Malong, a frequented dive site between December and May, only dived occasionally during the Monsoon season.

★★★★☆ Palong Bay

Situated on the east side of Phi Phi Ley, Palong Bay is the next bay north of the famous Maya Bay, made famous by the movie “The Beach.” This dive is s relatively simple one and is rarely affected by currents. The dive heads south from Palong Bay towards Maya Bay.

Scubapro, Stephen Frink

★★★★☆ Whale Shark Wall, Ko Phi Phi

Situated on the east side of Phi Phi Ley, Palong Bay is the next bay north of the famous Maya Bay, made famous by the movie “The Beach.” This dive is relatively easy and is rarely affected by currents. The dive heads south from Palong Bay towards Maya Bay.
