El Peñon is one of the best wreck dives in Tenerife. This wreck is perfect for the wreck diver specialty, but also for fun dives. Sea conditions are great for most of the year.
On the East coast, this dive site it is suitable 365 days a year thanks to the breakwater wall that protects the entrance. Tidal changes can cause the formation of currents and undertow along the wall, This site is not to be underestimated.
Dive site only by boat, it is very popular for all levels because it is easy to find turtles. Ideal for snorkeling and training. High season may divers around.
Just about 15 kilometers south of the airport sits this marine protected area where you can dive all year round because it is protected by the Trade Winds.
Beautifull shipwreck in deep water. Attention with the current, it can do really difficult dive. The visibility is around 20 meters all year around.
As soon as you enter the water from the stairs of the bay, you will find a flat sandy bottom where you can see a great biodiversity. Easy dive, no current, good visibility and very pleasant to do. A favourite dive for underwater photographers.
It´s also known as the moray Cave. It can be a bit difficult depending the current and visibility. To get the dive spot you need to by boat. Possibility to do Full Cave.
This marina is located 10 km south of Santa Cruz and offers an easy entrance with a stairway. The outside of the marina wall gets deeper than 40 meters. There are public bathrooms, wood benches, and showers available.
Only 10 minutes from the coast we arrive at a cliff located in the middle of the sandy area at a depth of 32 metres, which houses in its deepest part (49 metres) the entrance to a cavern with a depth of about 10 metres. Both the entrance and the interior are quite large.
We have maintained the Sea Grass since 2008 and have seen it grow exponentially to now cover some 600 sq metres. With regular Blue Oceans events and daily monitoring we have now been rewarded with a family of Turtles paying daily visits.
Dive site for training. Place protected from currents and sandy bottom. Entrance from the beach. Recommended only for beginners. Maximum depth 12 meters.
Diving that takes place along the reef formed by the area of the beaches of Radazul. The reef is made up of large stones, generating a thousand places that hide animal life. With several diving options from 0 to 34 meters and can reach up to 40 meters.
Trumpet fish cave is another hidden gem known only to a few and is the local meeting place for all Trumpet fish. They are able to change colour to help with camouflage and when threatened generally hold a vertical position which is ideal for the underwater camera enthusiast.
Suitable for all levels and with very beautiful rocky landscapes in this dive, we will enjoy typical underwater volcanic landscapes of Tenerife.
At the end of a cul-de-sac leading to the small beach is this enchanting and wild dive site. There is little space for parking and conditions are favorable for entry only 50% of the year, when the wind from NE is not too strong.
