Mares, Janez Kranjc Batumulapan (★4.6) Batumulapan is a sloping wall dive with amazing reef structure in the shallows above 14m. Soft fan corals and giant sponges can be seen as well as the usual hard corals. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Kapalai House Reef (★4.3) Its crystal clear waters and beautiful diving, Sipadan Island lies off the East coast of Sabah, Malaysia in the heart of the hotspot. Kapalai can be reached in just a 50 minutes by speedboat from Semporna. Sipadan-Kapalai is an ideal destination for divers and non-divers alike, seeking a great holiday experience. The Barefoot Diving Center, Hanimaadhoo Baarah Caves (★4.0) Deep sheer wall to 25-30m from a top reef at around 7m. Deep caverns, overhangs, ledges and small caves at around 16m where white tips and nurse sharks can be seen along with rays resting. Macro life to be found in the deep caverns and along the wall / inside the small overhangs and openings. Continental Scuba, 744211 Havelock Island, Andaman & Broken Ledge (★4.6) Broken ledge is a deep-sea dive site with rifts, cracks, gaps, and openings. The fascinating topography of the site holds a landmark ridge with a broken tip, giving it the name Broken Ledge. Sanctum Gili Trawangan, 83352 Pemenang - Lombok Turtle Heaven Gili (★4.7) 5 minutes by boat from Gili trawangan at Gili Meno. The luxuriance of the marine life made this dive site ideal for beginner or expert diver. Aqualung Ot Di Ma (★4.3) 45 minutes boat ride away from Soul scuba divers dive centre, remember look into blue for big sea creatures passing by, reef starts at 5 meter to 40 meter Soul Scuba Divers, - Raja Ampat P-47 Plane Wreck (★4.4) 45 minutes boat ride from Soul scuba divers, Airplane wreck lies between 26m-33 metre. Airplane wreck is from WW2 pacific war and its an American P-47D aircraft Al Marsa Travel & Tourism Co., LLC., PO Box 44 Dibba, Musandam Ras Sarkan (★4.6) Ras Sarkan is the southern mouth of Habalayn Bay. It is a wall combined with slopes with some beautiful hard and soft corals. Depth: 10–40 meters. REMARKS: There might be some current especially at the corner. Also, beware of local speedboats since it’s a busy area. Use SMB and stay close to the wall. Al Marsa Travel & Tourism Co., LLC., PO Box 44 Dibba, Musandam Al Maqta (★4.8) Al Maqta dive site is opposite of Ras Sarkan on the north part of Habalayn Bay. It is a coral wall with some slopes and a beautiful coral garden. Depth: 10–35 meters. Good for the Macro and Night diving. REMARKS: Some current is on the tips of the site, usually coming from inside out. Aqualung AH KONG TONGUE (★4.6) From Dreamer Island it takes 4 minutes by boat to get there. It’s started the name from a diver who called Ah Kong but the the top reef is looks like a tongue so this dive site become AH KONG TONGUE. Sub Oceanic (Ventures Pvt. Ltd.), Shaviyani Atoll Sirru Faru Hulhangu (★4.7) Sirru Faru Hulhangu is located about 15 minutes west of Sirru Fen Fushi Private . As with most farus, it is a relatively easy drift dive along a beautiful coral covered reef. The top is at 5 meters and then slopes down to 30+ meters. At various depths you will find overhangs, some covered in beautiful soft corals. Sub Oceanic (Ventures Pvt. Ltd.), Shaviyani Atoll Sirru Faru Dhekunu (★4.8) Sirru Faru Dhekunu is located just outside the boat channel to the south of the island. It is an easy drift dive along a long slope which is not usually affected by strong currents. Sub Oceanic (Ventures Pvt. Ltd.), Shaviyani Atoll Sirru Fen Fushi House Reef (★4.8) A 5-minute boat ride to the east and we arrive at Sirru Faru Irumathi better know as Sirru Fen Fushi’s House Reef! located on the west side of Sirru Fen Fushi’s private Lagoon Resort, this long drift along the slope is suitable for beginner divers as well as divers who don’t enjoy long boat rides. Sub Oceanic (Ventures Pvt. Ltd.), Shaviyani Atoll Fahi Faru (★4.9) About a 30-minute boat ride to the north is this nice, easy dive site for all experience levels. The dive starts at about 10 meters and then slopes down to a sandy bottom around 20 meters. Not far from that you will find another reef covered in beautiful leather corals. Sub Oceanic (Ventures Pvt. Ltd.), Shaviyani Atoll Fahi Thila (★4.8) Located in the inside of the atoll, currents tend to be minor. With the maximum depth being 20 meters, it is the perfect spot for all experience levels. The dive site is known for its amazing hard coral life, both on the thila and the main reef. Aqualung San Choi Wreck (★4.6) San Choi are 3 fisherman wrecks sunk in 2018 to form an artificial reef. Sitting at 18m depth, the wreck is now teeming with fishes, to the extent that it blocks the sunlight. The wreck is also a cleaning station, with plenty of cleaner pipefish and cleaner shrimps offering their service to the fishes. Sub Oceanic @ Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi, Shaviyani Atoll Maroshi Irumathi (★4.7) A nice and easy site 30 minutes south of Sirru Fen Fushi Private Lagoon Resort. Located on the east of the local island Maroshi, this dive site is usually done as a drift dive. The dive site features a very shallow top reef and a slope reaching to about 25 meters deep. DivePoint Meedhupparu, 960 Meedhupparu Kinolhas Kandu (★4.4) Drift dive with the current flowing from the western tip of Kinohlas along the north side towards the small Thila. Lots of fish on the top of the reef, some really nice little overhangs deeper. Experienced divers dive to the thila, beginners stay over the overhangs and slowly ascend the Sandy Slope Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Danny’s Eel Garden (★3.8) Danny’s Eel Garden is a fascinating dive site with a depth of 18 meters/60 feet. It is no brainer that the reason we call it an eel garden is because the site is frequented with all types of eels. Mares Pandoga Point (★4.3) Southwest of Nunukan Islands (35 minutes from Nabucco Islands) is a wall up to 35 meters, which has many craters and overhangs. At the foot of the wall follows a sandy plateau. DivePoint You & ME, 200015 Male Uthuru Maafaru North Corner (★4.8) Located north of You&Me Resort at a distance of 20min by boat. Top reef lays at 10mt with a gentle slope dropping to 30mt. On the corner there are a couple of cleaning stations where, from December till April, is possible to encounter Manta Rays. Mares, Janez Kranjc Cathedral (★4.4) This dive site is home to an underwater landmark cross that was installed by none other than former Philippine president Fidel V. Ramos. The cross is situated between two big rocks at around 18m/60ft. and is decorated with soft corals. DivePoint You & ME, 200015 Male Thiling Faru (★4.9) We can reach Thilin Faru in 20min by boat. Top reef lays at 10mt with a coral slope to 15mt and then to 30mt. On the corner a sandy area surrounded by coral blocks with a Manta cleaning station. DivePoint You & ME, 200015 Male Sand Bank Reef (You & Me Resort) (★4.6) Amazing shallow dive with full of hard corals and nice slope with finest clear sandy bottom.. located on northeast corner of the sand bank reef.... Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Barracuda Point Udar Besar (★4.6) The dive site is located in between southeast of Pulau Uda Besar and northwest of Sepanggar Island. Accessible via a boat it is 5 minutes away from both, Pulau Uda Kecil and Sepanggar Island. DivePoint You & ME, 200015 Male Vaadhoo thila (★4.6) Vaadhoo thia is a very famous dive site it is deep and ocean thila middle of the channel. Top reef starts in 10m and the bottom goes down to 40m with beautiful corals. Scubapro suana (★4.6) Suana is located on the east coast of Nusa Penida and offers a nice wall dive where the reef drops to an unknown depth. The currents can be strong, but if you dive at the right time, it is a pleasant dive. Scubapro Batu Bolong, Nusa Penida (★4.7) Located off the south coast of Nusa Penida, Batu Bolong is the dive site around the famous arch that is often photographed. It can only be dived on a rising tide when the swell is low and is subject to high current and surge. Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé Le Meridien House Reef (★4.8) A vibrant and beautiful House Reef at Le Meridien Maldives is located at the north side of Le Meridien. It is sheltered from the elements and accessible almost the entire year for divers and snorkelers alike. Le Meridien Maldives stunning House Reef offers more than 5 different dive sites. Including a small wreck. DivePoint Meedhupparu, Meedhupparu Kottefaru Bodu Thila (★4.6) After a 35min boat ride we arrive on Kottefaru Bodu Thila. From July to November you can have wonderful Manta dives and the best on it, its easy diving, also with current you can easy see that amazing animals. DIVEIndia Neil, 744104 Shaheed Dweep Fish Slate (★4.5) Remember the small whiteboard carried by instructors? We may need a bigger one to note down the variety of fish that live here. Fish slate features fringing reefs with a blend of branching and table corals with complex structures providing a safe habitat for marine life and a picturesque platform for divers. Mares, Janez Kranjc Warahnus (★4.5) Located in front of Warahnus Dive Homestay jetty, offers you variation big corals structures along the reef. Group of fusiliers playing on shallow 12 -15 meters, with variation of soft coral through the slope topography. Good for corals id program and wide angle photograph sites. Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé OLHUVELI HULANGU FARU (★4.5) A five-minute boat ride to the east take us to the neighboring local island Olhuvelifsuhi. The shallows are covered in sand which is why we also call this dive site “the milky sand reef”. Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé BOAVA THILA (★4.7) A 10-minute boat ride to the north and we arrive at Boava Thila. Located north of Le Meridien and in the inside atoll, the dive site is suitable for beginners and experienced divers alike. The reef features large patches with beautiful black coral . Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé OOKOLHU FARU (★4.7) The dive site itself actually consists of two dive sites that are divided by a sandy plateau at 8 meters. South of the plateau we can find a large lagoon with an average depth of about 12 meters. On the other side towards the north and north west a sloping and long reef called faru ranges from 10 to 30 meters. Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé MADUVVARI HAA (★4.7) This beautiful thila is located south west of Le Meridien Maldives. The top of the reef is at about 5 - 8 meters, going down to around 30 meters. Overall, Maduvvari Haa is teaming with life. In the South west is a nice overhang and the north east you’ll find a beautiful coral garden mainly consisting of hard coral Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé MADUVVARI IRUMATHI KANN (★4.8) A great dive site for shark lovers. Maduvvari Irumathi Kann is located on a channel corner towards the west of Le Meridien and it requires only a 25-minute boat ride to get there. We start the dive on the faru (long reef) and drift with the current. The closer to the channel we get the livelier it will become. Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé MADUVVARI DHEKUNU KANN (★4.8) One of our best dive sites! Maduvvari Dhekunu Kann is located on a channel corner west of Le Meridien Maldives. A 25-minute boat ride takes us to this prime dive spot, which is suitable for experienced divers who feel comfortable with deep dives in potentially strong currents. With the right current Meyyafushi Kandu is a great channel to cross and experience what so many people come to the Maldives for. Starting from either one of the corners the actual swim only takes about 20 minutes. Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé NEMO THILA (★4.7) Just insane! That exclamation best describes Nemo Thila which is located 60 minutes to the north of Le Meridien. The dive site will blow your mind and not surprisingly, it is located inside a national park. It’s 55 km from the beach. contain south reef from 35 to 25 meter with decline everywhere Sub Oceanic at Hilton Maldives Amingiri, 20188 North Male Atoll Amingiri Sandbank Reef (★4.8) What seems to be a rather “unspectacular” sandbank reveals itself as a very pretty dive site. Having said that, sandbanks are never really unspectacular in the Maldives but you wouldn’t expect a very pretty wall ranging from 3 to 30 meters when looking at the pristine white sand on top of the reef. ←1...910
