A perfect site for freediving, scuba diving, and snorkeling. Mares, Janez Kranjc Hin Klai (★4.2) Just 2 kms east of Koh Phi Phi lies the submerged and less-often dived submerged pinnacle of Hin Klai (sometimes called Gareng Heng). This gently sloping pinnacle begins at around 6m, dropping to around 13m on the east side and 17m on the west side. SSI Thailand, 84360 Suratthani Natai Pier/ท่าเรือหาดนาใต้ (★4.0) Natai Pier, located in Phang Nga just north of Phuket, isn’t a traditional “dive site“ in the typical recreational sense with established dive operators visiting daily. It’s primarily a local fishing pier. Local shore dives or snorkeling occur in the vicinity, Scubapro Sugar Wreck (★4.3) Sugar Wreck - registered as MV Union Star at the time of sinking, was transporting sugar when it sunk during 1999. The 90m cargo ship now sits at 19m of water, gathering growth and fish-life for the past 24 years. The wreck lays sideway, with possible penetration into the interior for certified overhead diver. Scubapro Kottefaru Anemone Thila (★4.5) This fantastic pinnacle gets its name from a blanket of anemones covering the top of the reef. There are 2 large overhangs on opposite sides of the thila full of interesting corals and glass fish. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Ah Long Rock (★4.7) It takes a 8 minutes boat ride to reach Ah Long Rock, it’s head is to North- west. This is a dive site great for beginner entry level, it’s slopping to the bottom. MANTA DIVE, Gili Trawangan Magic Reef (★4.4) Magic Reef can be found where the current comes in on the northern side of Gili Meno. This is a great dive site for those looking to drift along the reef. The site is best suited for beginner level divers. Palm Beach Divers Co., Ltd, 81150 Krabi Hin Daeng/หินแดง (★4.5) This is a submerged boulder pinnacle where, looking at the bare rocks above water, you would have no idea that it is such a beautiful dive site below water. Healthy soft corals in various shades of red are all around here and plenty of small scale action goes on. Amed Buddha Diving, 80852 Bunutan Srikandi Speedboat (Wreck) (★4.6) This is a new wreck of a Speedboat with maybe 20 seats inside that sunk and is now around 25 to 35m deep. You can see the full boat; it looks perfect still. Access is from the beach, in front of Srikandi restaurant. Bunyarit T. (#3035720) Koh Talang South (★4.5) Depths can reach 25-30m, suitable for all dive levels. It features granite rock formations with well-preserved hard corals, and currents can vary. It’s also an excellent spot for macro photography. SSI Service Center Israel, 63501 Tel Aviv The Big Barge (Wreck) - הודברה הגדולה (★4.2) This is most likely the biggest wreck on the eastern shore of the the Mediterranean. It rises tall on a sandy bed at 32 meters ( 96 feet). This large barge sank in 1980 after being damaged from a storm. It is an impressive wreck with the option of a penetration dive for qualified divers. SSI Service Center Japan, 101-0051 Chiyoda-ku Okubo Hama (★4.3) Located in the northern part of the island, this is the main dive site of Miyakejima. This is a beach entry only. The terrain is formed by lava flowing into the water, with roots protruding offshore. There is a fairly large area to the east and west of the dive site, and you can’t go all the way around on one dive. DIVESTORY CORPORATION, 6015 LAPU - LAPU Pescador East (★4.4) Pescador Island’s east side, near Moalboal, Cebu, features a dive starting at a 5m plateau descending to 65m along a coral-covered slope. The dive concludes on a plateau rich in small marine life, also ideal for snorkeling. Aqualung Ras Lima (★4.6) Ras Lima is an easy yet beautiful dive site for beginner divers to advanced. Lots of schooling fish and beautiful hard and soft corals. Great for the Macro and Night diving. Depth 3-18 meters. REMARKS: Also beware of local speedboats since it’s a busy area. Use SMB and stay close to the wall. Aqualung Kingston Wall (★4.5) A winding wall off Una Una’s main village, which descends from 5 metres to beyond 60 metres. The main interest of the site is a finger which point the North of the island, the top of which starts at about 15 metres and descends to 34 metres. There is a sandy slope to the West of the site which is good for Macro. Divers Paradise Komodo, 86554 Nusa Tenggara Timur Secret Garden (★4.5) Secret Garden offers great scenery for both macro enthusiasts and those looking for larger species. With a gentle sloping reef, in the shallows this site boasts a rich variety of coral bommies, plus soft corals serve as host for huge schools of reef fish. Amed Jepun Divers, 80852 Amed, Karangasem Deep Blue (★4.7) One of the best drift dives in Amed area. More Southern dive site, Deep Blue is a boat dive that brings you to a wild colourful marine life. Deep dive, good for challenges. MANTA DIVE, Gili Trawangan Good Heart (★4.5) On the eastern side of Gili Trawangan is Good Heart. From north to south, this site starts off as a gentle slope which gradually gets steeper until it ends as a wall. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Purple Haze (★4.6) A lovely fringing reef off the East side of Peel Island, very close to and similar to Anthony’s Reef. Currents can sometimes be reasonably strong, but shelter is available. MANTA DIVE, Gili Trawangan Magic Pier (★4.3) Located in the foothills of the mystical volcano, Rinjani, this dive is a sandy, yet vibrant site known to divers in the northern region of Lombok as ’Magic Pier’. SANCTUM UNA UNA, 94683 Tojo Una-Una Pinnacle 1 (★4.6) A beautiful triangular Pinnacle with both a slope and a wall, located 3 minutes away from Sanctum Una Una dive resort. The reeg starts at 5 metres and is perfect for both day and night diving, and for enabling OW students to learn to dive without threatening the coral. Mares Ko-Ok (★4.4) An underrated dive site where tiger shark encounters have been recorded. Undulating sun rays filtering through the asymmetrical arrangement on the steep wall where the reef top starts at 3 meters plunging to incongruent depths lend beauty to Ko-Ok a kin to an abstract Picasso piece of art. Aqualung Black Rock (★4.6) One of the few known reef manta cleaning stations in Southeast Asia where cleaner wrasse serve to remove dead skin off the mantas’ body. This site is called Black Rock because of a rock at 8 meters where one of the buoys are set up. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Staghorn Point (★4.7) Starting at 7 meters, undulating fields of staghorn coral extending to about 500 meters creep to the edges of a wall that plunges deep at Tubbataha. Mares Turtle Rock (★4.1) Divers plunge to the deepest depth of the wall at 20 meters & follow a bearing to the sandy slope westward to check out 4 massive rock boulder outcroppings. Mares, Janez Kranjc Tangub Bay (★4.6) The entry welcomes you at 4 meters where the topography is a mixed coral garden of soft & hard corals, the reef then slopes down steeply angled at 25 – 35 degrees all the way to 30 meters. Mares Koh Haa #4 (★4.5) Koh Haa #4 is located south west of the lagoon as its sister island number #2 very slow slope for 5m to 26m. it also offers a wall on the south south east part for surface to 20 m.This site is gorgeous full of life small and big inhabitants. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Koh Haa Yai Beach (★4.6) Koh Haa Yai #5 beach is ideal for snorkeling or entry level courses or divers.This area is shallow and easy to dive with also a good variety of sea life. Coral Eye Resort Bangka, 95375 Manado Busa Bora Kampung (★4.3) Busa Bora Kampung is characterized by a nice and healthy coral garden from 3 meter until 18 meter. When you go deeper you reach the sandy bottom which is home to a multitude of critters. Coral Eye Resort Bangka, 95375 Manado Busa Bora Barat (★4.3) This site is characterized by a coral garden that extends from 3 meters to meet the sandy bottom at 30 meters. Particularly interesting are three coral blocks full of life. HB ANDA SCUBA DIVING CENTER CORP., 6311 ANDA Virgen west (★4.8) Virgen West is located in the middle of the Virgen marine sanctuary. The top of the reef starts around 5m and the drop off go down until 30m. On the bottom its interesting sandy slop. Mares Batu Layar (★4.4) Batu Layar, or translated into Sail Rock, is a hard coral reef of Staghorn Corals and massive Table Corals. The coral reef extends into 18m, and turns into a sandy bottom. Batu Layar is considered one of the best dive sites in Perhentian with consistently good visibility. SSI Service Center India, 400709 Navi Mumbai SS Inchkett (★4.5) One of the best wrecks in the Andamans, it is mesmerizing to see how such a massive man-made object transitions into an ideal home for so many fish and coral. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Nudi Rock Raja Ampat (★4.5) A huge rock dive site in between Ajoi and Nayak, It’s a nice place for photographers and you don’t have to swim further out, an easy and shallow dive site, only 4 mins away from Juara Jetty. DiveGurus Diving Services Corp., 5608 Malay Tribird Plane Wreck (★4.6) The Tri-Bird Plane Wreck is a 20 meter long airplane that was sunk on purpose on March 1st, 2012. It has a wing span of about 25 meters and is lying upside down on sandy grounds. The wreck starts at a depth of 25 meters down to the ground at 30 meters. Aqualung Soul Scuba Reef (★4.6) In front of the Soul scuba divers dive shop, you can find epic sloping coral garden with lots of different species to discover. It can be done as a shore entry or with boat. Perfect for day or night dives. Dive Point Siquijor, 6227 San Juan, Siquijor Johnlhea Coral Garden (★4.7) One of the most popular shore entries in Siquijor is 1,3 kilometers south of San Juan town center. You will find on the right side the John Lhea Resort sign board. Turn in and check in at Dive Point DC which is located there for a shore dive in Coral Garden. A great site for a night dive. DivePoint Meedhupparu, 960 Meedhupparu Digufaru Thila (★4.7) This is a small thila 80m long and 70m wide in the middle of a channel which promises a lot of currents. Due to the current, this dive site should be dived by experienced divers only, or those who are willing to learn! Smart diving in the current’s shade required or the right place to be shown by an experienced instructor. Mares, Janez Kranjc Batumulapan (★4.6) Batumulapan is a sloping wall dive with amazing reef structure in the shallows above 14m. Soft fan corals and giant sponges can be seen as well as the usual hard corals. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Kapalai House Reef (★4.3) Its crystal clear waters and beautiful diving, Sipadan Island lies off the East coast of Sabah, Malaysia in the heart of the hotspot. Kapalai can be reached in just a 50 minutes by speedboat from Semporna. Sipadan-Kapalai is an ideal destination for divers and non-divers alike, seeking a great holiday experience. Hans E. (#3545391) Largahan (★4.5) Largahan is a very beautiful and diverse site. You will find a dark sandy area of coral gardens and volcanic rocks. This site is great for macro diving, like the whole of Apo Island. Sanctum Gili Trawangan, 83352 Pemenang - Lombok Turtle Heaven Gili (★4.7) 5 minutes by boat from Gili trawangan at Gili Meno. The luxuriance of the marine life made this dive site ideal for beginner or expert diver. Virginia Scuba, 20109 Manassas West Escarceo (★4.5) This beautiful site is covered in brightly colored coral and is full of life. Weather and time of year can change this dive from a drift dive to a slow paced tour. Expect tons of fish and sea critters on this dive. DivePoint Meedhupparu, 960 Meedhupparu Aarah Kuda Thila (★4.6) A small reef with many different types of colorful coral. The reef roof is at a height of 6m and has a diameter of approx. 20m, at a depth of 25m it should be approx. 50m. On the west side an overhang with soft corals, further deeper a gap with giant moray eels and cleaner shrimp. Aqualung San Choi Wreck (★4.6) San Choi are 3 fisherman wrecks sunk in 2018 to form an artificial reef. Sitting at 18m depth, the wreck is now teeming with fishes, to the extent that it blocks the sunlight. The wreck is also a cleaning station, with plenty of cleaner pipefish and cleaner shrimps offering their service to the fishes. Scubapro, Stephen Frink D’Lagoon (★4.4) D’lagoon is a reef overlooking the Perhentian windmill. Blessed with clear water and a shallow and majestic reef, it is the embodiment of beauty itself. D’lagoon is located in a bay, also protects it from wind and current. The Reef starts from the shoreline into 12m depth, where it transitions into a sandy bottom. SANCTUM UNA UNA, 94683 Tojo Una-Una Jungle (★4.4) A deep sloping wall lying 3 minutes from Sanctum Una Una dive resort, sitting in a bay close to the rainforest jungle. Best enjoyed when it hasn’t rained, as a river runs off into this spot which can affect visibility. Amed Jepun Divers, 80852 Amed, Karangasem Jemeluk Secret Wall (★4.7) On the left side of Jemeluk Bay, you need to swim a bit going down to nearly 30m, there is a huge fan coral with sometimes Pygmy seahorse in it, current can occur sometimes. DivePoint Meedhupparu, 960 Meedhupparu Kinolhas Kandu (★4.4) Drift dive with the current flowing from the western tip of Kinohlas along the north side towards the small Thila. Lots of fish on the top of the reef, some really nice little overhangs deeper. Experienced divers dive to the thila, beginners stay over the overhangs and slowly ascend the Sandy Slope Mares Pandoga Point (★4.3) Southwest of Nunukan Islands (35 minutes from Nabucco Islands) is a wall up to 35 meters, which has many craters and overhangs.
