Deep caverns, overhangs, ledges and small caves at around 16m where white tips and nurse sharks can be seen along with rays resting. Macro life to be found in the deep caverns and along the wall / inside the small overhangs and openings. Sub Oceanic (Ventures Pvt. Ltd.), Shaviyani Atoll Sirru Faru Hulhangu (★4.7) Sirru Faru Hulhangu is located about 15 minutes west of Sirru Fen Fushi Private . As with most farus, it is a relatively easy drift dive along a beautiful coral covered reef. The top is at 5 meters and then slopes down to 30+ meters. At various depths you will find overhangs, some covered in beautiful soft corals. Sub Oceanic (Ventures Pvt. Ltd.), Shaviyani Atoll Sirru Faru Dhekunu (★4.8) Sirru Faru Dhekunu is located just outside the boat channel to the south of the island. It is an easy drift dive along a long slope which is not usually affected by strong currents. Sub Oceanic (Ventures Pvt. Ltd.), Shaviyani Atoll Sirru Fen Fushi House Reef (★4.8) A 5-minute boat ride to the east and we arrive at Sirru Faru Irumathi better know as Sirru Fen Fushi’s House Reef! located on the west side of Sirru Fen Fushi’s private Lagoon Resort, this long drift along the slope is suitable for beginner divers as well as divers who don’t enjoy long boat rides. Sub Oceanic (Ventures Pvt. Ltd.), Shaviyani Atoll Sirru Thila (★4.6) Only suitable for experienced divers who feel comfortable with deep dives in potentially strong currents. Nitrox recommended. The rewards are great! The northern part of the thila is covered by overhangs and gorgeous coral life. Sub Oceanic (Ventures Pvt. Ltd.), Shaviyani Atoll Fahi Faru (★4.9) About a 30-minute boat ride to the north is this nice, easy dive site for all experience levels. The dive starts at about 10 meters and then slopes down to a sandy bottom around 20 meters. Not far from that you will find another reef covered in beautiful leather corals. Sub Oceanic (Ventures Pvt. Ltd.), Shaviyani Atoll Fahi Thila (★4.8) Located in the inside of the atoll, currents tend to be minor. With the maximum depth being 20 meters, it is the perfect spot for all experience levels. The dive site is known for its amazing hard coral life, both on the thila and the main reef. Sub Oceanic @ Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi, Shaviyani Atoll Naainfaru Irumathi (★4.8) This dive takes place on a faru located on the south-east side of the island of Naainfaru. A faru describes a long reef. It is a fairly easy drift dive that takes you along a beautiful reef sloping down from around 5 meters at the top to 25 meters at the bottom. DivePoint Meedhupparu, 960 Meedhupparu Aarah Kuda Thila (★4.5) A small reef with many different types of colorful coral. The reef roof is at a height of 6m and has a diameter of approx. 20m, at a depth of 25m it should be approx. 50m. On the west side an overhang with soft corals, further deeper a gap with giant moray eels and cleaner shrimp. Sub Oceanic @ Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi, Shaviyani Atoll Maroshi Irumathi (★4.7) A nice and easy site 30 minutes south of Sirru Fen Fushi Private Lagoon Resort. Located on the east of the local island Maroshi, this dive site is usually done as a drift dive. The dive site features a very shallow top reef and a slope reaching to about 25 meters deep. Sub Oceanic @ Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi, Shaviyani Atoll Medhu Faru (★4.6) Medhu Faru is located about 30 minutes south of Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi Private Lagoon Resort. The reef is attached to an island and starts at around 2-3 meters deep. From there it slopes to 30 meters and beyond. You will find some nice coral life between 20 and 25 meters as well as many beautiful reef fish. DivePoint Meedhupparu, 960 Meedhupparu Vandhoo Thila (★4.5) An approximately 200m long thila in the channel between Kottefaru and Vandhoo where we dive the north side. Here it goes down in steps down to 45-50m. The overhangs are nicely covered with soft corals. In the blue water, the grays pull their lanes. With beginners, we try to find calm conditions. DivePoint Meedhupparu, 960 Meedhupparu Villingilli Thila (★4.4) Small Thila directly on the island of Villingilli on the offshore plateau in the direction of the channel between Raa and Baa Atoll. Usually a jump into the blue water east of the Thila above the plateau at the edge for approx. Let drift along 30m towards Thila and then slowly climb up the Thila. Current !!!! DivePoint Meedhupparu, 960 Meedhupparu Kudathulhaadhoo Caves (★4.3) Drift dive along Kudathulhaadhoo Island. Large overhang with soft corals in the west, caves in the middle, and a small bay and the tip in the east is full of fish Sub Oceanic @ Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi, Shaviyani Atoll Miyaru Thila (★4.5) Miyaru Thila is an excellent dive site about 45 minutes south of Sirru Fen Fushi Private Lagoon Resort. It is an underwater mount (thila) with the reef top starting at about 10 meters, going down to 30 meters on all sides. You can find beautiful overhangs all over the thila at various depths. DivePoint Meedhupparu, 960 Meedhupparu Kinolhas Kandu (★4.4) Drift dive with the current flowing from the western tip of Kinohlas along the north side towards the small Thila. Lots of fish on the top of the reef, some really nice little overhangs deeper. Experienced divers dive to the thila, beginners stay over the overhangs and slowly ascend the Sandy Slope DivePoint You & ME, 200015 Male Uthuru Maafaru North Corner (★4.8) Located north of You&Me Resort at a distance of 20min by boat. Top reef lays at 10mt with a gentle slope dropping to 30mt. On the corner there are a couple of cleaning stations where, from December till April, is possible to encounter Manta Rays. DivePoint You & ME, 200015 Male Thiling Faru (★4.9) We can reach Thilin Faru in 20min by boat. Top reef lays at 10mt with a coral slope to 15mt and then to 30mt. On the corner a sandy area surrounded by coral blocks with a Manta cleaning station. DivePoint You & ME, 200015 Male Sand Bank Reef (You & Me Resort) (★4.6) Amazing shallow dive with full of hard corals and nice slope with finest clear sandy bottom.. located on northeast corner of the sand bank reef.... DivePoint You & ME, 200015 Male Miyaru Giri (★4.5) Located South of You&Me Resort, close to Kadholhudhoo Island in the Channel. Distance by boat is 45min ride. It’s an underwater pinnacle where the top of the Giri starts from 6 to 7m dropping down to 30m. On the southern side of the Giri there are a couple of big coral blocks, where big encounters are possible. DivePoint You & ME, 200015 Male Reethi Thila (★4.5) North East side of You&Me Resort, close to Fuggiri Island in the channel. Distance: 35min by boat. The top of thila is 6 to 7m deep dropping down to 30m on the channel side and 20m in the more inner part. Beautiful overhangs can hide stingrays and nursesharks. DivePoint You & ME, 200015 Male Gaagandu faru (★4.1) Very nice gentle slope reef and with some overhangs it starts from 8m till 20m. This dive site is located on southern side of You&Me and the navigation time is around 18min. DivePoint You & ME, 200015 Male You and Me Giri (★4.7) This especial giri is located on north side of You&Me and the boat navigation time is 8minutes. Top reef is in 1m and the reef bottom is 25m with macro stuff. DivePoint You & ME, 200015 Male Vaadhoo thila (★4.6) Vaadhoo thia is a very famous dive site it is deep and ocean thila middle of the channel. Top reef starts in 10m and the bottom goes down to 40m with beautiful corals. Scubapro Kuni Faru (★4.4) A typically shallow top reef, gently sloping to a sandy bottom at 25-30m. The slope is covered with many large rock formations, small ledges and overhangs, offering refuges to fish, turtles, morays and some macro subjects. Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé Le Meridien House Reef (★4.8) A vibrant and beautiful House Reef at Le Meridien Maldives is located at the north side of Le Meridien. It is sheltered from the elements and accessible almost the entire year for divers and snorkelers alike. Le Meridien Maldives stunning House Reef offers more than 5 different dive sites. Including a small wreck. DivePoint Meedhupparu, Meedhupparu Kottefaru Bodu Thila (★4.6) After a 35min boat ride we arrive on Kottefaru Bodu Thila. From July to November you can have wonderful Manta dives and the best on it, its easy diving, also with current you can easy see that amazing animals. Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé OLHUVELI HULANGU FARU (★4.5) A five-minute boat ride to the east take us to the neighboring local island Olhuvelifsuhi. The shallows are covered in sand which is why we also call this dive site “the milky sand reef”. Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé BOAVA THILA (★4.7) A 10-minute boat ride to the north and we arrive at Boava Thila. Located north of Le Meridien and in the inside atoll, the dive site is suitable for beginners and experienced divers alike. The reef features large patches with beautiful black coral . Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé OOKOLHU FARU (★4.7) The dive site itself actually consists of two dive sites that are divided by a sandy plateau at 8 meters. South of the plateau we can find a large lagoon with an average depth of about 12 meters. On the other side towards the north and north west a sloping and long reef called faru ranges from 10 to 30 meters. Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé MADUVVARI HAA (★4.7) This beautiful thila is located south west of Le Meridien Maldives. The top of the reef is at about 5 - 8 meters, going down to around 30 meters. Overall, Maduvvari Haa is teaming with life. In the South west is a nice overhang and the north east you’ll find a beautiful coral garden mainly consisting of hard coral Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé MADUVVARI IRUMATHI KANN (★4.8) A great dive site for shark lovers. Maduvvari Irumathi Kann is located on a channel corner towards the west of Le Meridien and it requires only a 25-minute boat ride to get there. We start the dive on the faru (long reef) and drift with the current. The closer to the channel we get the livelier it will become. Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé MADUVVARI DHEKUNU KANN (★4.8) One of our best dive sites! Maduvvari Dhekunu Kann is located on a channel corner west of Le Meridien Maldives. A 25-minute boat ride takes us to this prime dive spot, which is suitable for experienced divers who feel comfortable with deep dives in potentially strong currents. Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé ALIGHAA BEYRU FARU (★4.8) Alighaa Beyru Faru is located about 40 minutes south west of Le Meridien Maldives. A real drop off that doesn’t stop dropping! A reef that disappears into the blue! Do you have the picture in front of your inner eye? Then you are right at Faadhoo Beyru, one of the best dive sites we have on offer in the proximity of Le Meridien Maldives. Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé MEYYAFUSHI KANDU (★4.6) A site not to be missed by the experienced diver. With the right current Meyyafushi Kandu is a great channel to cross and experience what so many people come to the Maldives for. Starting from either one of the corners the actual swim only takes about 20 minutes. Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé NEMO THILA (★4.7) Just insane! That exclamation best describes Nemo Thila which is located 60 minutes to the north of Le Meridien. The dive site will blow your mind and not surprisingly, it is located inside a national park. Stunning colors and more juvenile fish and small sardines than you could ever imagine live here. Scubapro, Stephen Frink You and Me Wall (★4.7) Wall with amazing hard coral coverage. This dive site is perfect for beginners as well as advanced divers who like to find some small creatures. Mares, Janez Kranjc Dheraha Thila (★4.6) Deep thila starting at 18m deep going down to 30m. Good dive site for advanced divers, ideally with Nitrox certification. The thila looks like a broken rock separated in many blocks. Sub Oceanic @ Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi, Shaviyani Atoll Coralarium (★4.5) THE CORALARIUM by Jason Decaires Taylor is a 100% sustainable Art installation which was completed in 2018. Under guidance of the Resident Marine Biologist Samuel Dixon a lot of additional shelter and valuable coral restoration projects were realized throughout the years to become the abundant reef it is now. ←12
