The SSI Basic Freediver course is your first step into the peaceful, exhilarating world of freediving. During this entry-level program, you will learn how to freedive safely with a buddy in a pool/confined water up to a depth of five meters. Online training is combined with in-water practice sessions to give you all the skills and knowledge you need to be a confident freediver. Upon completing this program, you will earn your SSI Basic Freediver certification. This is a pool based course. We'll either complete the training in Auckland (Olympic pool Newmarket) or Stanmore Bay pool. Usually we train between 10am and 2pm, but we will confirm this and the location after booking. Looking for underwater adventure? Try SCUBA is the way to go! There is nothing like SCUBA diving! Its much easier than you think and the Try SCUBA entry level program is an ideal way to start exploring the magical world of the big blue ocean like you have never seen it before! On completion you will earn the SSI Try SCUBA recognition card and and learn to love the ocean from a completely new perspective. If you decide to become an Open Water Diver within the first six months, your Try Scuba open water dive will be recognized as one of the required dives. In order to truly enjoy your first underwater experience, an SSI Dive professional will teach you everything you need to know and under their guidance, you will learn the skills you need to enjoy this first experience underwater.
