French Kiss Divers Malapascua, 6013 Malapascua Capitancillo Island (★4.4) THERE IS ONE LARGE OBLONG REEF WITH A CHAIN OF THREE BLOCKS STREATCHING SOUTHWARDS.THE EAST SIDE SHELVES TO 15M. AND CATCHES ENOUGH CURRENT TO BE QUITE COLOURFUL. THE MOORING AREA IS WELL PROTECTED FROM THE SEA, CURRENT IS USUALLY MILD FROM THE NORTH. Aqualung Pura Vida House Reef (★4.4) In this amazing Macro diving spot, you will find a couple of boats and cars that were sunk in the muck created a very interestiy dive site on the beautiful black sand Scubapro, Stephen Frink Baring (★4.1) Located just off the top of Olango Island the Baring site takes around 30 minutes to reach from Mactan. It offers a large sloping sand flat descending to a deep wall with superb corals. Mares Lapus I (★4.0) Lapus Shallow Dive site is an ideal dive training site. It is a sandy slope with some rock formations. Most of the time there is a light current except for slack hight tide. BIGBOSS DIVE CEBU, 6015 Lapu-Lapu City Lighthouse (★4.4) The Lighthouse dive site in Cabilao Island, located west of Bohol, is a breathtaking diving destination known for its stunning coral formations, rich marine biodiversity, and excellent visibility. This site is ideal for intermediate to advanced divers who enjoy wall diving and drift diving. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Chocolate Island Malapascua (★4.1) The island is located between Maya and Malapascua and is basically just a rock coming out of the water. Some trees are covering the stones and birds made the island their home. From the walls of the island it slopes gently to a max. depth of 18m. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Luca Sanctuary, Reef Village (★4.0) Everything is possible at this place, the many artificial reef structures that have been built by Dive Society since 2012 attract a variety of creatures, from the smallest macro creatures to whale sharks and many reef fish, everything is possible. Reef Village, Reef Cones and wrecks have been sunk here. DIVERGEMS HOSTEL AND DIVE CENTER, 6013 Daanbantayan Lapus-Lapus (★4.1) The shallow part of the famous Lapus-lapus islet off the coast, of the tip of the north of malapascua island. It has the shallowest depth at 4-5m crawling down to the deeper side to 18-20m it is perfect for beginner and advanced divers looking to observe the marine life interaction in the reef. Aqualung Malatapay (★4.1) Malatapay is a small sheltered bay located at the end of the road of Malatapay Market. It is characterized by a sandy shore entry and is a muck diving site up to maximum depth of 26m. Going north, there is a medium sized reef with mostly soft coral below 10m and hard coral starting around 8m Mares Exotic Dive Resort house reef (★4.4) Exotic’s protected area where the fish are plentiful, this Reef is not to be missed. Starting at 5 meters and gently sloping to 13, it’s a great place to work out the kinks after some time out of the water. Amongst the scattered coral and patches of sea grass, a wide variety of fish and macro life can be found. Mares Malapascua (★4.5) A beautiful house reef dive full of fish. Dive Society Dauin, 6217 Dauin Blue House (★4.4) Sea Dream Resort house reef, built in 2019 and now one of the top dive sites on the coast. Flat seagrass meadow and sandy slope with coral blocks and large artificial elements made of metal and concrete. Fades south into a coral reef and another reef starts at 25m. Mares, Janez Kranjc Snapper’s Cave (★4.4) Wall with a cave down to 25m/80ft. Good for macro and wide angle photography. Good place to spot turtles and nudibranchs and frogfish plus the other reef fish. Scubapro Mimik Point (★4.4) One hour away from the amun ini diveshop by bangka boat, best time to dive in the morning with 2 dives tank dive, chance to see macro stuff good for the divers with camera. Mares, Janez Kranjc Tepanee Sanctuary (★4.4) The waters of Tepanee Beach in Malapascua Island offer a calm and scenic dive environment, known for their clear turquoise visibility, gentle slopes, and thriving reef life. Aqualung North Point / Deep slope Malapascua (★4.2) “Deep Slope“ in Malapascua is a renowned muck diving and macro site characterized by a sandy slope that resembles a dune, typically ranging in depth down to roughly 28 meters. Mares Lapus Shallow (★4.0) The shallow part of the famous Lapus-lapus islet off the coast, of the tip of the north of malapascua island. Aqualung Quiliano (★4.3) Quillano is a colorful and easygoing dive site near Malapascua Island, known for its lively coral gardens, sandy channels, and relaxed diving conditions. Aqualung Lighthouse Reef (★4.1) A favorite night dive site in Malapascua found on the northern part of the island. The dive usually starts at dusk to enable divers to watch the Mandarin fish. Aqualung Punta (★4.4) The very first marine protected area in Dauin is also the most popular dive site due to its proximity and gentle slopes. This makes it the perfect spot for beginners. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Tingo (★3.8) giant sand flats leading to deep walls and cleaning stations. The site is exposed and is susceptible to winds and currents, with strong tidal flows often experienced. Mares, Janez Kranjc Los Bamboos (★4.3) 3-5m flat top reef and sandy patches with a sloping reef down to 16-17m a perfect dive site for courses either for open water, advanced open water or higher. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Gato Island (★4.5) Gato Island is a well preserved marine reserve and sea snake sanctuary. This is one of the five famous dive sites on the Island. The site is a tunnel where you take a tour underneath the island. This site is best for more experienced divers/ Peter S. (#417559) Kimud Shoal (★4.8) After the tresher sharks disappeared from Monad Shoal for unknown reasons and moved to the Kimud Shoal, this is now one of the best dive sites in the world to see the rare and elusive tresher sharks. These sharks normally live in the deep but regularly come here for the cleaning stations at shallower depths. Mares Dakit Dakit (★4.1) Small rocks are coming out of the water and make a stunning atmosphere especially during sunset. Strong currents can be found at this dive site, but during other times of the day it is a perfect dive site for check-up dives, open water and advanced divers. Scubapro Deep Rock (★4.0) 10 minutes of Malapascua port to the north side, a deep rocky pinnacle perfect for expert diving looking for intermediate to strong current on tide changes, going down to top of the pinnacle at 14m down to the deepest part at 34m Mares, Janez Kranjc Evo Reef (★4.4) The Evolutionary House Reef (Evo Reef) in Malapascua, managed by Evolution Diving Resort, is a premier muck diving site known for macro life, artificial structures, and excellent night diving, located near the shore. Mares, Janez Kranjc Galapagos (★4.3) Galapagos is a colorful and easygoing dive site near Malapascua Island, known for its lively coral gardens, sandy channels, and relaxed diving conditions. Turtles and seahorses can be seen year round. Galapagos is also known as Malapascua Quiliano. Analynne S. (#3245254) SILVER REEF HOUSE REEF (★4.6) Gentle slope reef with a lot of yellow tail Snappers, resident Green Turtles and Hawksbill turtles. Reef has strong current but a diver can hide behind huge coral bommies and hang out with fish at 5m Scubapro Apo Scuba House Reef (★4.6) One of the best spots for macro diving—ideal for spotting fascinating and tiny critters. Dauin is a paradise for underwater photographers and macro enthusiasts, offering black sand dive sites teeming with rare and exotic marine life. The area’s nutrient-filled waters create the perfect habitat for muck diving. Ciro S. (#2908869) Talisay Dauin Beach (★4.4) Located 100 from Azure dive resort, this dive site offers something for divers who enjoy either coral reefs or muck diving. The site is a combination of sandy slopes, seagrass beds, and a coral reef. with lots of macro critters Mares Sahara Deep (★4.5) Sahara deep is a muck diving site where you can dive in the famous dark sand of Dauin to search for small creatures.You’ll also find some artificial structures like small boat wreck, a mustang’s wreck. Aqualung LIGHT HOUSE (★4.4) This lighthouse is found on the southern tip of Cebu and is an amazing dive spot for beginners. You can get there easily from Santander, Liloan, or Oslob. E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Marigondon Cave (★4.2) Marigondon Cave is the most exciting dive along the coast of Mactan Island, Cebu. It has a roof at around 29m/95ft and a floor of at about 40m/133ft. the diameter of the cave is near 10m/33ft. At the entry there is a small alcove. Sidemount or Twinset is a must diving in the area. Hans E. (#3545391) El Dorado (★4.7) This is a favorite dive site for divers looking for dense fish. It is a coral recovery and conservation site that features different types of Artificial Reef designed to encourage coral growth. It is now home to a wide variety of fish species and coral species. Mares Dakit Dakit Pinnacle (★4.4) Dakit Dakit Pinnacle is about 5M deep at the top and then stands up to 12-14M and has the diameter of the top is 20M. Covered with nice hard and soft corals including table corals and big rocks with nice growth. Atlas Divers-Philippines Inc., 6013 Daanbantayan Secret Wall (★4.1) This is an advanced dive site that goes down to 28M. This wall dive has an average depth of 12M to 14M. This is a good dive muck divers and macro photography. Scubapro San Miguel (★4.4) Great coral formation right next to an awesome muck site. Rare nudibranchs like sheep nudis and seahorses abound this area as well as a variety of frogfishes and a promise of octopuses. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Bugtong Bato (★4.2) An interesting dive site with a sloping reef at 12m, joining a mini wall to 20m and gradually turning to a coral garden tapering down to 30m. The mooring is set within the middle of the reef creating 2 distinct dive sites. Soft corals, sea fans and sponges cover the entire site.
